I have not looked to be honest, but I don't think they will connect any other way but wireless.

Re: Fanatec Game Gear
Yeah, dazza's correct.
All the cables you see are to connect, either the clubsport pedals to the wheel and the shifters.
Apart from the power cable to the wheel, the connection to the xbox is only wireless, although you can connect a pc via USB, but not the xbox

I did much the same, (but didn't post a pic before)
but @ $800 for the wheel, I couldn't just drink beer!

Good pickup NoRecoil, we've been waiting for more info on the new wheel.
I like the rim design around the grip area and the button layout is better than the GT2, imo. But I can't like the bottom spoke area, looks like someone had a big slab of aluminium plate to use up.

These are available in the US for pre-order now @$250 (no pedals inc). But if you don't mind waiting 2-3 weeks from the F4 release date it'd be a good option. You just need an on-forwarding company to get it over here, easy!
Have been thinking about getting one myself lately

Theres nothing on the Pagnian website yet about getting these wheels. In the past they have only released info when they had and order and an expected delivery date from FANATEC. Looks like they don't have an xbox compatible wheel available at the moment.
The best bet would be to email them and ask what and when they might have something.
ENVY, I was told at JB HiFi that they're expecting a new wheel from microsoft (not the wireless "Mario" wheel), you could try following that up as well. There were no details available.
you lucky bugger.

Re: Fanatec Game Gear
I just rang the gamesman in sydney and they say they probably wont get the CSR Elite wheel until march next year and it will be around $700 just for the wheel no pedals. They also said if you buy it from the states it might not work with our models but that might just be thier way of trying to get the buisness. So plenty of time time to save some coin.
P.s if you become a facebook fan of them they will put the release date up on facebook and you can pre-order from then
