Fanatec parts help?
hey guys
long time no see, anyways i know theres a few fanatec boys here, need to ask, anyone know where to get a replacement belt?
the one that comes up over the wheel cog
only details on it
gates powergrip (rubbed off stuff) 4 2810DS
theres other numbers obviously worn off if you can supply the rest i'd be very happy, think this is why i cant find it in the GATE'S catalouge
cheers

Re: Fanatec parts help?
Take ya belt into repco or wherever, the really smart and helpful* person behind the counter will reference it up on his/her pc and most likely order one in.
*may not actually be smart nor helpful

fanatec GT2
think the pwts are ones with white writing, have that code but unsure if the same
saw a guy who specialises in belts today, apparently they 90 tooth, closest thing listed is 89 tooth, making it short

Re: Fanatec parts help?
I have a feeling iWolf has taken his apart and posted some pics up here somewhere. I am on the phone so it is a bit hard to search, but have a look in his area, or have a look at his past posts... Would be back a while.

The other thing you could try is emailing Hess from Pagnian Imports.

Sorry, I can't help with a number for the drive belt.
I took the wheel section apart to fix the shift paddles.
Didn't take any notice of the drive belt number or other bits in the main case.

Re: Fanatec parts help?
cheers guys,
counted the other belt in the wheel, 89 tooth, tried it for size on other cog, and yup to short, tho i do have a code for that one now
still nowhere yet, did email pagnian no luck
fanatec support emailed back wanting invoice to see if its under warrenty, when ive already stated it isnt a warrenty claim, i just want to purchase parts,
so am still sniffing down that trail to see where i end up, and trying to find any of my invoice's will be a joke now hahaha

Re: Fanatec parts help?
3MR-270-11, thats the part, unavalible from gates themselves as were specially made for a customer (fanatec) they were threaded with carbon fibre
learnt how to read the code, figured they were the measurements in the end
3mm tooth pitch, 270mm long, 11mm wide, feel stupid but now i know
found a post pointing at amazon, they out of stock atm
found a small company with 2, ordered both
now the waiting game............
