Any1 found any cool stuff. I got the blueprint map and a uv light it shows wher all the sneaky stuff is i wont post any in case sum dont wanna know

Given the overwhelming hype and Wednesday's news that Grand Theft Auto V hit $800 million in its first 24 hours of sale, it's not too surprising to see Rockstar Games' latest title reach another astounding sales threshold. GTA V reached $1 billion in retail sales only three days after its September 17 release.

The news was announced by publisher Take-Two Interactive on Friday and makes GTA V the fastest-selling video game in history. The previous record-holder, Call of Duty Black Ops 2, hit $1 billion in retail sales after 15 days on store shelves last November. That was one day faster than 2011's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

It will be interesting to see whether or not the massively successful Call of Duty franchise, with its latest installment, Ghosts, hitting four consoles simultaneously (Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4) this holiday season, will be able to dethrone Rockstar with the help of its cross-generation release.

Contributing to the interest in GTA V is the impressive number of controversies that have been unearthed just days after its release: there's a graphic torture scene; an alleged cannibalism scene that was mistaken as an instance of in-game rape; a Scottish town's backlash over its namesake being attributed to a locale of "druggie hipsters"; and, of course, the usual torrent of necessary and needed criticism over the game's treatment of women.

After all, GTA V was the first game to feature three protagonists, yet none of the three are females, and the females that are incorporated into the storyline are more or less buzzkills, junkies, and strippers, critics have pointed out.

Still, it appears the video game world's preeminent unhinged reality simulator is irresistible. Early sales estimates pegged the game's lifetime earnings at $1.4 billion, though it could very well earn the title of the first $2 billion game if sales momentum continues through the end of the year.

And on top of this, this is the sale of a game that has been released so close to a next gen console release that I would have thought it would possibly hurt sales.

as we all know gta online comes out oct 1st . Did abit of looking around and rockstar have said yes it will be released oct 1st but they dont know what time yet

Nice update, reset my shit 6 or 7 times and every times and got some different glitch that prevented you from doing the tutorial mission EVERYTIME.

Hope Dan is taking note on how awesome Cloud power is!

I got online last night and had a quick 20min play
Built my character....sort of looks like me.
Spawning about 5 mtrs above ground is a bit weird.
spent half of my time running away from cops after I knocked out a few ladies to to steel their money, then plugged a few cops to steal their weapons and then spent the other half chasing a few online players and shooting at them. eventually had one kill me as I was shooting at another player.
They city traffic is a lot lighter online with most cars being shitboxes. couldn't even find a decent one to steal.
Other players are easily tracked on the map with white dots.

That was about it.....hope they fix up the issues soon.

Anyone wants to join my crew feel free, i'll be on most nights to cause mayhem

Online seems ok.. still a little bit glitchy but im sure they will iron out the issues slowly..

had a bit of a go last night.. good to see it lasted longer then 30mins before there cloud crashed .. like on tuesday night..

was able to do a robbery with a random player last night.. seems when u do a job.. one person will usually grab the cash then u make your get away.. but u need to stick with the person who has the cash if u are being chased by cops.. as if u dont u could forfeit sharing the take .. and the person who grabbed the cash gets it all..

then me and a mate had a go at a mission ( blue star on map ) seemed to be a last man standing match.. but the odd thing was.. my mate is in the same crew.. and when the game started it put me against my mate and 2 other randoms wer eon my team against my mate who was on his own .. dont knw why but i couldnt join my crew member.. ?? luckily my mate killed the 2 guys on my side.. then i shot him .. hahaha

Danno, i think with the cars as u level up u will see more types cars become avalible..

Has anyone totalled a car which was insured and with a tracker.. as u are ment to be able to call the insurance company and make a claim for a replacment car.. but some reson my car was totalled but when i call the insurance company its always engaged.. ???

Im in the same boat as teeroy. have not had any major drop out issues since online release except the 1st day when the cloud servers fell ova..

Only issue i have had is when hosting a private session.. if im in a job and then backout the other players dorp back to out to public sessions and have to rejoin my session ..

apart from that its been pretty smooth sailing..

Find private sessions so far is a good way to level up your xp.. and not have little 10 yr olds run u dont every 10 seconds ..

I know this is a dedicated forza site. but will there be a section for gta 5 ?? as i dont see it dieing out for some time .. ?? just a sugestion ??

Also if im online.. and someone from ozfm wants to join in .. feel free to join my session if u are playing solo.. more the merrier.... as i have it open for the crew and my friends list..
