Online mulitplayer will not be available until 2 weeks in - this is a move by rockstar so that the single player isn't ruined for a lot of people

I ordered from Dungeon Crawl cos it was cheap. Didn't notice (or think about it) till afterwards that they on-sell it. Therefore they will buy it once it's released and then send it on to me. Prolly won't get it until 24th or so (just after I have 4 days off in a row!).

me too......going to the midnight launch.
local EB has a DJ and stuff happening...they were going to try get strippers but head office heard about it and canned it.
They are still trying to get some dancers though and just dress them real slutty....haha

they want people to dress up, so I was thinking of going in with a few guns and just robbing them of my copy... Twisted Evil

....how much more GTA style can that be

Just a heads up guys, Rockstar have said not to install the "play" disc on the 360 version as it will negatively impact performance.

At this point, I'd also like to ask people to avoid spoilers relating to the plot for the first month or two, just to give everyone the chance to enjoy the storyline. :-)

Nice one OD very timely delivery, used the old transport company did ya hahaha
I checked it out at a mates place and it seems very similar in game play, just a little more refined in shooting and driving, cant believe they kept the same camera and blocky character movement to be honest.
Thank god they made more safehouses for saving and also the retry on missions is heaps better, no more driving back to the mission each time you die.
Map is HUGE.
I wasn't going to buy it right away but it seems like its just the done thing to do. Heard on radio this morning $850 Million on day 1 sales, EPIC!
Also heard a bunch of do gooders saying its not right etc etc even one saying that someone got stabbed just minutes after buying their game, like the persons gaming habit had something to do with them being stabbed
stupid idiots the non gaming world is as full of them as the gaming world itself.
