Re: GTA V - Discussion
Don, Champion effort finding those interactive maps! Thanks heaps, now I might be able to track down those 5 missing pigeons of mine to finish the achieve.
Already have next GTA pre-ordered, no way in hell I'm missing this one.
Do have a question though, do you reakon it'll run alright on the older 360's?. Mines already starting to lock up sometimes on Battlefield 3 and once on Halo 4 so far, so judging by the newest GTA mine may have issues?

Re: GTA V - Discussion
Found this warhawk .. might help with the question about concole preformance with gta 5..
Grand Theft Auto 5 was not a challenge on current-generation consoles, the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 according to Rocksta's Dan Hauser in an interview with IGN.
In the interview Dan said that "at a creative level, which is the most important for us, we could say everything we wanted to say and do everything we wanted to do on these machines"
In response to being asked why GTAV wasn't being made for next-generation consoles like the Xbox 720 or the PS4 Hauser pointed out that, "We didn't sit there saying, "We'd like to do this in the game, but we can't." There's plenty of power in these machines."

Could be - I'm pretty sure he works in the Fruit n Veg section.
At least he's a merry old bugger.

it has spell check....it underlines everything wrong in red...unless you add it wrong to the dictionary....or possibly old browser won't have it
it will never have auto correct....that shits me...never corrects properly and always changes words I really want to type to some other weird word

Re: GTA V - Discussion
I've just placed a pre-order with Play Asia for this. Currently AUS$53.40 which inludes free delivery on basic post and is probably the best price around. LINK HERE
For those that haven't used Play Asia before, they're a Hong Kong site who offer a few region versions of games and the Asian (not Japanese) version tends to be the cheapest. I've bought all my CODs, GTA's, Smackdowns, Rainbow 6's, etc from them and all have been okay. They've all come with either PAL, NTSC, or NTSC-J on them but all played as if I bought them here. It's possibly only a real problem if you like to trade games at EB.
Also, they don't confirm whether it's region free until they actually have stock and have tested. I'm happy to pre-order with them even with a question mark hanging over it because as I said above, they've all been region free in the past. On top of that, even though you've pre-ordered, unlike most shops and sites, they don't actually take funds from your credit card until it's ready to ship. This way you can always cancel up until this point if you get itchy feet. I like that I can lock in our current exchange rate but can cancel and re-pre-order if our rate does something incredible. N.B. If paying by Paypal they state they instantly lock in your funds.

Grand Theft Auto Online | Official Gameplay Trailer
Grand Theft Auto Online is a dynamic and persistent online world for 16 players that begins by sharing gameplay features, geography and mechanics with Grand Theft Auto V, but will continue to expand and evolve after its launch with new content created by Rockstar Games and the Grand Theft Auto community. Grand Theft Auto Online takes the fundamental Grand Theft Auto concepts of freedom, ambient activity and mission-based gameplay and makes them available to multiple players in an incredibly detailed and responsive online world.
In Grand Theft Auto Online, players have the freedom to explore alone or with friends, work cooperatively to complete missions, band together to participate in activities and ambient events, or compete in traditional game modes with the entire community, all with the personality and refined mechanics of Grand Theft Auto V.
Players can invest in their character through customizing their appearance, improving their stats, owning customized vehicles, purchasing personal property, and taking part in missions, jobs and activities to earn reputation and cash to open up new opportunities to rise through the criminal ranks. The world of Grand Theft Auto Online will constantly grow and change as new content is added, creating the first ever persistent and dynamic Grand Theft Auto game world.
