New Fanatec is almost here.

I wouldn't bother. I am a courier and I know for a fact these types of Operations (couriers please) start very early and are done usually just after 4pm. You might have a chance if it was sent via Australia Post and the depot is a 24 hour one.

My wife and I owned a Couriers Please contract many years ago. I can tell you we drove from 6AM to at least 6PM every day. I must say not all the CP drivers did that though.

My GT2 started its journey with CP, but then got transfered to Kingaroy Couriers this afternoon. I see this guy in town on a daily basis including weekends, so there is a chance he may come tomorrow. Or if I see him, he will pull over LOL

6am to 6pm wow. You must have had a huge run. too many 12 hour days drive you bonkers. I do probably about 1 a week or so now. I wish you well in getting your wheel. I'm just going to wait until Monday.

Yep we owned north of Brisbane through to Caboolture, 2 vans. 10,000klm service on the vans every 2-3 weeks. oh they were the days.

as for the GT2, I am now on a quest... it is so close I can smell the leather.

Apparently the driver has it in his van. The depot rang me back, and said he will deliver it before 7 on Monday. They have sent him a message.

So I will have my wheel, but then I will need to go to work

Wow, they allow drivers to take the parcels home on the weekend. If we do that we lose our jobs and get charged for stealing. Any left over parcels on a big day have to go back to the depot.

Pity you didn't have it for the weekend. It would have been the perfect scenario for you.

I guess in these times it may bs risk. Maybe not so much in kingaroy. Back when we had our CP runs, I had parcels in my van most nights, all insured.

Now I'm worried. According to the online tracking only two of my 3 cartons were accepted into the depot. in Syd on 27th. I'm wondering if the parcels get separated in transit?

I would not be too worried, unless only half turns up. The coupons are like money in CP, we use to by lunch with them, lol.

My parcels (3) are in 3 different locaations, with one coupon going to Sydney on friday. I hope thats not true.

Mine checks as "No Action", I hope thats wrong too.
Don't have the connote at work, so can't check during the day.
Best would be a call from our mailroom saying its arrived.

man i wish i was that courier noticing the fanatec branded boxes on friday arvo on the way home

I recieved the three boxes this morning. Wife accepted them for me. now it's time to play

Turns out only 1 of the 3 boxes made it here.

I told the courier to keep it, and come back when you have the 3 boxes. After chasing up on the phone all morning, it turns out, for some unknown reason 2 of the boxes were not picked up on Friday. I will have to wait till tomorrow.
Not that I plan on using it till Wednesday anyway. I made up my mind, I would not run the new wheel at Laguna on Tuesday night unless I had it long enough to learn all the stuff with it.

It does take some getting used to. I'll post my initial thoughts on the other thread.

Thought it might. Bit of a job to take the MS wheel off the stand and put the GT2 one on, so I thought I should leave it till after Tuesday night anyway. Then on the weekend... look out!

I assume you have all received a packing/freight job no# or something. How are you tracking shipments!

I haven't heard any think from Pagnian, except 3 emails on the 27th about screws being too long..
