Heads Up!

Pagnian update on facebook.

Luckily we were not affected by the strikes at the Brisbane wharf and the Fanatec shipment will be received on time. We are actually hoping to have ALL orders out by this Friday the 27th rather than Monday the 30th. Australia will be the first country in the WORLD to dispatch the new batch of GT2 wheels, thankyou for your patience and we can assure you it was worth the wait.

Oh Baby. I have been so looking forward to this. No doubt so is the person who will be getting my old ms wheel so they no longer have to play with the controller. He asked about sitting the wheel on his lap. I've never played with it on the lap before. Can it be done or is it better putting it on a table of some sort?

Can't wait to see what you guys think of the Fanatec, I'm considering it but that's a lot of cash... I'm sick to death of this piece of crap Microdick wheel and it's random disconnecting/random downshifting on straights/losing FF/turning all the way to the right during a race/general shite quality.

Crimson I use mine on my lap and it seems to go ok. Never tried it on a table though.

im wondering how many people will take a day off to have a good thrash on the wheels.. i know i was a sucker who took the day off to collect mine and have a bit of a bash on the wheel.. work , wheel , work , fuk it wheel it is.. hehehehe

Don’t need to take the day off. I start at 4am and am usually done by 9:30-10am for my first shift. Then I will clear the whole day to play around with the wheel. Means the shopping/washing/cleaning/sleeping/whatever else ain't going to get done that day lol
How epic is this going to be. We'll have a Porsche GT2 wheel to race with in the Carrera series. What next? Maybe fire suits and helmet and burn some octane in a bucket in the living room.

Unless you live in Sydney/Melb/ Brisbane I don't think there was any chance of getting your kit Friday. Pity though. Would have been nice to play with over the weekend. Oh well. We'll have plenty to look forward to on Monday

I wouldn't bother. I am a courier and I know for a fact these types of Operations (couriers please) start very early and are done usually just after 4pm. You might have a chance if it was sent via Australia Post and the depot is a 24 hour one.

My wife and I owned a Couriers Please contract many years ago. I can tell you we drove from 6AM to at least 6PM every day. I must say not all the CP drivers did that though.

My GT2 started its journey with CP, but then got transfered to Kingaroy Couriers this afternoon. I see this guy in town on a daily basis including weekends, so there is a chance he may come tomorrow. Or if I see him, he will pull over LOL
