my 2c worth.. if you are looking at spending a bit of a packet on a fanatec wheel.. i cetrianly would suggest the clubsport pedals.. Buy the look and feel of them.. they are more robust then my actual pedals in my real car.. totally worth the buy..

Thanks mate,

I've ordered the GT2 clubsport package which includes the clubsport pedal set.
A couple of the other guys have as well.
Its just a matter of waiting untill they get here.

I also recieved email confirmation that the wheel has been delayed

"Unfortunately there has been a 2-3 week delay from Fanatec on our order which is frustrating as there is nothing we can do about this. Hence our dispatch date has been pushed back from April to May. As with previous Fanatec shipments we will do everything to get your order to you as quickly as possible and dispatch all orders within 24 hours of the shipment arriving.

We apoligise for the delay, if you have any further queries feel free to contact us."

Unfortinatly the wait is a killer.. but once u get it in your sweet little hands.. trust me its worth it ..

i had to wait 3 - 4 weeks to even pull mine out of the box and bolt up to my frame.. as no table in the house would let me clamp the wheel to it.. Sad

but when i got it set up.. it was well worth waiting for Wink

i tried to sit it on my lap.. but that was a big fizzle.. especially when turning the wheel.. found the wheel wasnt turning it was more the actuall wheel base turning.. hehehehehe " U look like a idiot cant u just wait for the frame. " as stated by the miss's lol

That sucks. I was really looking forward to hooning around on my new wheel. Hopefully Fanatec are not going to pull a GT5 on us and make us wait another 6 months or so for them to fill the new us and uk orders.

I drove for over a year with my MS wheel on my lap. Then I got the fanatec wheel stand... woohoo. I love the stability of that stand. Mind you I still drive the same. Embarassed

Now I have to wait longer for the next piece of my puzzle. I guess it will be worth it.

So where is it that i order one of these bad boys from with the complete clubsport package..Is everyone using Simparts NZ?? Im in oz.

Im mostly drift on FM3 but i will probably get into some PC racing games when i get this wheel..That being said im wondering if i should wait until the handbrake is released as it may be cheaper to get it as part of a package instead of a seperate accessory...Or is the handbrake a pipe dream..

Seriously though,,I dont want to miss out on getting one of these wheels when they become readily availible to Australians.

I ordered mine from Pagnian Imports , I got the GT2 package and the tuning kit for the pedals $888.00. Go Triple 8!

I got this email from Hess the other day, replying to my inquiry. I ment to post it up, but forgot, sorry.

yep looks like im ordering mine from pagnian, just the wheel and shifters, get them sent by the brother in law to nz, get the pedals from simparts nz

well they can sit in the cupboard for awhile before i get to use them, time to start altering a cockpit to fit them in, or find someone to do the hard welding and grinding anyway, i hate feeling like a retard with only a left hand
