Re: 2014 Formula One Discussion
What a race and what a result! Thoughts on the move in the last laps by LH on NR?

Didn't see FA defending LH like LH defended from NR. Alonso is a God.

Envy with the goods.
Im not too sure on that move, stewards didn't call anything and Hamilton can always just go "well I had no choice the car just did that cause of the tyres being gone." At the end of the day though, its racing, and there's a championship on the line and most of all its entertaining. Still as a proud Hamilton hater I'm always happy to see him have the book thrown at him

Re: 2014 Formula One Discussion
Well done Ric..!! Both of his wins so far has come when ive decided to hit the hay early, so to finallly see a win......sweeeeet!
But the true champion in Mercedes is indeed Rosberg: when the chips are down Hamilton is the first to give up and whinge/sook....Nico will just persevere and improvise. Hamilton is a quick but he will never win another F1 Championship. I dont hate him, but the motorsport world is just over his negativity IMO.
Rosberg was at fault with the incident with Hamilton today, but the boo-ing crowd isnt cool either.

Re: 2014 Formula One Discussion
In regards to the incident with Hamilton and Rosberg, it was a racing incident pure and simple. I wouldn't blame Nico outright for that, he held where he was and Lewis moved over to regain his line they touched, shit happens, it's racing. Add to that there was no penalty. Title condendor or not, Hamilton should know that by now and blathering pissweak excuses all race isn't going to help him get anywhere.
The rest of the season will play out very interestingly, I wouldn't knock out Ricciardo as a title contender yet, the way the first half of the season panned out and with double points at the end of the season anything could happen

Re: 2014 Formula One Discussion
Yeah it wss a racing incident, i agree. Perhaps aviodable on Rosbergs behalf buuuut it was not intentional.
What Rocciardo has going for him aside from raw speed is temperament....Rosberg is quick but has a good race head on him, Hamilton is naturally quick but is impatient, Alonso is persistant.

Re: 2014 Formula One Discussion
News reports I've read state that Hamilton has said that rosberg admitted to deliberately causing the incident. Can't wait for the next race to see this soap opera play out.

Re: 2014 Formula One Discussion
Since it's coming from Hamilton it's probably him just having a sook, shifting the blame as per usual

Re: 2014 Formula One Discussion
Apparently Toto Wolff has said that it wasn't intention and Hamilton just misinterpreted what was said

Re: 2014 Formula One Discussion
Some interesting goss....
Sebastian Vettel will not be driving for Red Bull next year.
Red Bull confirmed that the 2015 driver line up will consist of Ricciardo and Kyvat.
Its rumoured that Vettel will be at Ferrari next year but whos seat he will take is unknown.

Re: 2014 Formula One Discussion
Rumour mill is that alsonso will return to mclaren with button being left without a drive for 2014. I doubt he would be taking kimi's seat, Ferrari have always been a team focused on one driver and I doubt they would be willing to let Vettel or Alonso battle it out like vettel/webber or Rosberg/hamilton
I don't expect Ferrari or Vettel to be a force next year, but over the next 3 or 4 years we could see a return of the Schumacher days.

Re: 2014 Formula One Discussion
DO NOT BUY THE 2014 GAME.
Laziest Frig game ever, just play 2013 until 2015 arrives. The cockpit view sucks in pretty much every car except the RB10 and F14T, the steering wheels on ALL cars except the RB10, STR9 and the Williams are literally exactly the same. The only reason the Williams is any different is because it uses LAST YEARS MODEL.
I went into this game knowing it would be a relative re-skin, but I didn't know it would be this bad. The only defining difference between this and 2013 is that its slightly easier to lose the rear end, and from what i can tell there is NO ERS SYSTEM.

Yep agreed it's not great and it's better to stick with 2013 till 2015 gets released early next year.
