Re: 2014 Formula One Discussion
Personally I love the look of the McLaren, maybe apart from the god-awful knob-nose. That silver livery reminds me of the West McLaren liveries from the late 90s-early 2000s.
Not sure if I'm fond of the back section of the Ferrari, the black section of paint on the airbox/rear of the car (need side view photo to know what I mean), but is a nice livery nonetheless.
The Lotus looks the same as it has for 3 years now, except from that photo it has more sponsors, more stripes and is now sponsored by Pasta Moldynachos homecountry oil company PDVSA. Can't wait to see Pasmain Maldojeans on the track.
I'm guessing that's not the official Williams livery, although without all that oil money maybe they can't afford stickers and paints. Nose looks the most like a knob than any of the other cars.

^Hahahaha, the McLaren with the eyes looks hilarious!
I love the look of the Toro Rosso, they've really started to improve their livery consistently every season, and the McLaren looks good when the picture isn't when it's a dull grey but the shiny metallic.

Man those 2008 cars are sexy
That 2008 Force India looks amazing!
I wonder, if they do a speed comparison between different year models, what would the different times be like? My bet is that lap times are getting consistently slower and slower with each new set of rules but it would be cool to find out.

See, now Mercedes and Red Bull have the right idea. I don't know if its me, but i see some RB X2014 in the design there!

Re: 2014 Formula One Discussion
The Mercedes doesn't have a little knob at the end though. Its whole nosecone IS a floppy knob... I don't really like the Mercedes nose, the Red Bull looks great though.

Re: 2014 Formula One Discussion
Good job Mercedes on fantastic looking car with none of this free willy stuff going on. The Red Bull looks great as well. I do have to say that the lower noses look so much better than what we have seen in the past few years

Re: 2014 Formula One Discussion
Caterham would have to the worst so far, Williams done a good job of theirs, Mercedes still looks the best even though their wing can't stay attached.
New engines sound awesome. A nice change I reckon.

Re: 2014 Formula One Discussion
Or RB are having a whinge that they're being disadvantaged, the battery placement and all that is the key thing in that article really.

Good read, also here's a quote from Kobayashi on how his Caterham is performing in the tests:
"We are not able to race," the Japanese is quoted by Spain's El Confidencial. "But if we were, I think we should use a GP2 car, as we would be faster."
