mmmmmm.....
20 second delay between TV and live stream on v8supercars.com.au. I think 7 need to change their logo in the top corner from LIVE to ALMOST LIVE.
Is the stream also delayed?
Can not find a normal live timing like the F1.

Forza seem to get their name somewhere during Bathurst...
Seems like a lot more thought went into the designs on the Fords. While I do like Lowndes/Luff's Holden I am sure 888 could have picked another one of Brock's cars to replicate. The Double D wrote:the ford replicas look way better then the holdens

Gotta love dunlop. The cars hace gotten 7 seconds quicker in the last 10 years and yet the tyres have hardly changed #dunlopfailure

Re: 2012 V8 Supercars Discussion
Yeah good racing. Who would have thought Reynolds would take it to Whincup like that. 2nd best drive of the day just to Lowndsey. I really like the way 888 nullified Whincup's closest rival for the day.........By stacking him in the pits behind him AGAIN!! . Still a good result a few teams and a fitting finale to the Ford vs Holden era for now if not a little tarnished by pit lane antics IMO. Hard luck to FPV as well such a good quali turned to shit by super bad luck.

Congratulations Roland Dane on costing Craig Lowndes another Bathurst trophy!
Best part of the day was when Whincup got gout of his car and NO ONE Rushed over to great him!
I thought of the scene from "Cars" when the green Wanker car wins the piston cup in the final race yet no one cheers!
Awesome work Reynolds! I was yelling at the TV "WIN IT OR BIN IT" cause worst case scenario he would have taken them both out and Lowndes would have got the victory

1:If Lowndes had of been in front, Whincup whould of had stack instead. It's just the way it goes
2: No one rushed to him because the they are up the other end of pit lane. Pit staight is much longer than it appears on Tv, NO ONE would be able to get down the other end of pit lane in the time it takes to drive down there.
Was a great race, No rain Thank god
JDub and PD drove a flawless race all day and deserved the victory.
Special mentions go to Reynolds/Canto for keeping the pressure on all day as well as Courtney/McConville for the same reason, Webb/McLaughlin for being in contention for the podium but just falling short at the end, I was really hoping that they would get there same as Caruso/Ritter and finally the Shannons car of Waters/Dixon. With the lack of experience that they have not much was expected of them but they just kept it clean and got a half decent result.
Great job also to Failed Performance Racing for stuffing up another Bathurst
Anyways I don't really care what anyone has to say because

Whincup haters - GET ANGRY
If Lowndes had track posi over Whincup, guess who would have been stacked... hardly anyones fault.
And not only is pit straight much longer than it appears on the telly, the teams have to pack up all the gear that lives in the lane and get the roller doors down asap (further delaying the boys from congratulating Whincup and PD) before the crowd rushes over to steal the lot! Hope that helps clear up why JDUB was left hanging!
Anyway, im a Holden guy all the way, and have been for as long as i can remember, but theres only two Ford guys iv ever cheered home, Lowndes and now Reynolds! I wish he stayed in a Holden, GO DAVEY!

That's correct. The ferals up there will steal anything, they even take the Supercheap Auto stickers off the armco on pit staight.sempeR wrote:

Re: 2012 V8 Supercars Discussion
I do find it quite funny how T8 always get singled out for stacking. Most teams do it at some stage.
Look at Reindler, He was stacked behind Murph and went from a fairly decent position to finishing 18th but nooo that never gets a mention.
Yes, Stacking does suck but it's the better option out of that or doing another lap under Safety Car and then pitting and losing even more positions.
The only way of fixing it would be to close pit lane under SC conditions.

Re: 2012 V8 Supercars Discussion
Yeah true clarko i have seen the stacking thing go the other way before just never at the big one. How good would it be to see bathurst go a complete 161 laps without a safety car so the best drivers can really take it to the max!! That i would like to see

Re: 2012 V8 Supercars Discussion
Roland Dane has said many times that stacking is a great problem for the team it means they have 2 very competitive drivers.
I loved the race on Sunday and quite happy with the outcome. Triple 8 are now 1 & 2 in the championship.
To be honest once lowndes made 3rd place I was not too fused who won out of JW, DR, or CL. I think the best 3 drivers were in the best 3 positions at the right end of the race. Well done to all of them. I don't really care what brand shell won, there are pretty much the same anyway.
