Tried the Bugatti, could not get a clean lap. The corner after skyline, it kept saying I cut the corner... NO!, I flew over it and land nicely to take the right hander before the dipper. LOL

Re: Need For Speed Shift Unleashed (2)
The more I play this game, the more I like it. The helmet cam too a bit of getting used to (at first I hated it) but now I am I find it great.
I still think the cars shift around more than in Forza but I put it down to NFS's arcade roots.
Nice selection of tracks. And I found out how to get theforce feedback working and stopped the drunken driver syndrome. This will do nicely until October.
I just hope night races and weather is in Forza 4

Re: Need For Speed Shift Unleashed (2)
Im in the same boat, the more I play it the more I like it.....
Havent even looked at forza since I got this..
Does take abit of getting use to, but once you sort out the controls to how you like and get your head around the tuning the cars handling definatly gets better.
Silimar to forza as in you get way more grip on lap 2 or 3 once tyres are up to temp, moves around abit during the 1st lap, regardless of what car your in.
And Ive finally sussed out the drifting, there a few setting you need to adjust and once you do, you can hang that sh!t way out, and its pretty cool looking out the passenger side window while your sliding past tyres and walls
Ill be back on the mountain later then I geuss, in something quicker that a GTR

Okay. All you have to do is start a race in career mode. As the people are wandering around at the start put it on pause. Then rip the power cord from the wheel turning it off. Put the cord back in and push the button to turn the wheel back on. unpause the game and you have force feedback as strong as forza.

Are you kidding me?
next you will say you need to do it for each race.

Nah. Just once is enough. Do not ask me why. This program is very buggy. I'm sure it will be patched though

ANyone got the hang of drifting with the wheel? If so how? Thing seems far too responsive and twitchy to be any use.

I have been using the wheel for racing and the controller for drifting. The same as I did with Forza .

Re: Need For Speed Shift Unleashed (2)
for drifting, try setting all your car setting as close to 0 as possible, except for bumpstops, leave them soft......try that, made one hell of a difference for me.

Re: Need For Speed Shift Unleashed (2)
I think I have worked out what the whole weaving in a straight line is trying to simulate. It is like the chasis is flexing under the power, if you accerate without full throttle it is no where near as bad. Some cars are a lot worse than others.
I am almost up to the enduros races, 20 laps around bathurst... cant wait!

Turn off your torrents, however it will update autolog when it connects. I just run offline most of the time, then I turn off any downloads and it updates the autolog.

I agree about Bathurst. Best track in the game imho. I wonder if they will include v8's in a dlc. Imagine that. Make them about as fast as the GT3's

Re: Need For Speed Shift Unleashed (2)
Anyone figured out how to turn up the force feedback? I can't find it in options. Only vibration. The steering would be just about perfect if the force feedback was just a little stronger.

Re: Need For Speed Shift Unleashed (2)
I am seeking some help...
There is an achievement that Clarkson and myself are trying to get.
King of the Hill
Win your first Driver Duel Championship crown
To get this achievement you need to win a series of online head to head duels, the problem is, it is done in a public race, and it appears people will do anything to win.
I beleive if we had about 4 to 5 of us, we should be able to scam this achievement. So if you would like to help us, and of corse in turn we help you. Drop in to our XBL party tonight. Also as usual we will be runnig some laps on the mountain.
