I hope there is tuning available, that car has way too much oversteer for me.

I really starting to think this Shift games are geared towards "drifts" more than pure racing people

both those videos, the drivers have no idea how to control the car. thats the problem with previews for racing games, most of the time its just some random who doesn't know how to control the cars properly.

(sigh) looks like more of the same.

I don"t think the devs have actually ever seen Mount Panorama because that looks terrible.

Found another that really doesn't look promising - although hard to tell whether it's final build or not, but its aparently filmed from CeBIT which finished last week.

hahah - wish they'd get people who could drive to show these reviews off!
Not to mention my general dislike of behind car view. :-)

As I said before - I'll rent it out before I buy.

hmmm... reminds me that I wanna rent out NFS Hot Pursuit again. Good fun, but not worth buying (IMO).

Looks fantastic. This will tide me over until forza 4 hits and I'm sure forza 4 will be a lot better because of the competition pushing it. I'm stoked.

Has anyone noticed that from the helmet cam, when you turn the display becomes blurred. And when you straight it returns to in focus.

I will be waiting for the OZFM judgment, before buying but it does look like I'm going to have to break my 1 new game per year rule!

Well EA knew they had to lift there game to GT5 and Forza Spec, hence the Real Drivers being brought in to give a honest opinion.

I've read countless pre-reviews - this is one NFS game that might bring them back to there glory days

even in this video no tyre marks left on the track how could they forget about them ?

Who gives a rats about tyre marks. The game looks awesome. I just hope that sound is in the game and its not just added later.

I'd say 29th. It got pushed from the 17th and it will be available in europe on 24th I think. It is so good for forza to have some competition. This will stop them being lazy.

Did notice that and under hard breaking as well, Looks kinda like that they made it so to simulate the G's put on your body, and vision.

Looking forward to this game and trying it, have had it on pre order for awhile now.

I was in JB's this morning saw their promo boxes and signage which states " in stores 24 march"

But saying that, I'd think your right with the 29th

Sounds very interesting. Yes it's not forza. But would you want another forza with 4 coming around the bend? Personally, I hope turn ten take the best bits out of this and bolt them onto their game engine. Especially helmet cam and night racing.

hmmm to much hype with this game. i've watched all the Shift2 vids i can find and the physics don't appear realistic at all. the close ups show the cars/envionments don't have the same detail as Forza, and i'm really over excessive use of blurring effects, but this is forgiveable as it's more about the feel of racing drama i guess.
on a positive note i love the sound and the flames from the exhausts.
how well they have updated the physics engine is what will clinch the deal with me. i don't have anything against arcade racers ( loved PGR and GRID ) but i still regret buying Shift1, it was neither here nor there...
