Bathurst party with Shift 2

Post by RU four 86 on Sat Sep 14, 2013 9:11 am

I'm having a Bathurst get together, mainly the family brother in laws,  nephews and a few friends, abit of a boys day in front of the tube.

I was thinking of setting up the console/wheel next to the TV, and running Bathurst from Shift 2, I don't have the game anymore (returned it on day one) but I'm going to get a S/H copy.

My questions are these,

1. Without spending to much time in the game playing career mode, cos I don't have it... Is there a way to get a good car that works well for Bathurst, can cars be gifted, buy them at a similar A/H in game ect.

2. Whats a good easy car to drive, most of the guys don't play racing games, that works well for Bathurst similar to the V8's.

3. Are the cars tunable, if so would anyone be kind enough to share a setup for Bathurst.

At the end of the day, I'm just tring to get something happening for a good fun day watching and playing Bathurst with a bunch of blokes, a bit of a boys day at the races.
If anyone can help that would be great

I know TBoy, that's why I returned it day one!

But, all the other aren't gamers so an arcade style game with Bathurst is ok.
I picked up a2nd hand copy for $15 @ EB's over the week end. Found a couple of wheel setups on the fanatec site, it helped iron out some of the crapyness of the game.
Still good fun especially after afew beers!
