FM6 - MX-5 Cup - Series Info
Welcome to the 1st OZFM Series on
Forza Motorsport 6
Forza Motorsport 6
Car : 2013 Mazda MX-5 Cup
One of the most affordable ways to get into real-life racing is to prepare a Mazda MX-5 Cup car. Teams such as CJ Wilson Racing have helped drivers with aspirations to hit the track to live their dream of competing on the same courses as the Tudor United SportCar Championship and other professional series. Many drivers graduate from the MX-5 Spec series to launch racing careers. In the MX-5 you have the perfect lightweight and nimble package that anyone can learn to corner properly. You also have a healthy 190 horsepower up front pushing the rear wheels with top speeds somewhere around 120 mph. In the MX-5 Cup car you have a race-prepared car with adjustable suspension, improved braking, a stiffened chassis, and reliability that lets you focus on reeling in the car ahead of you.

Will there be teams? And if so will they be required to run the same livery and sponsor?

cool, dunno how other wheel users are finding it but with the mx and pretty much all the others the cars will just randomly spin.
if you turn the stm assist on the car becomes totally fine. even though stm never engages..
not sure if its a bug.

yeah, there is a couple of forum threads in the main forza forums about it.
great test is the rio tunnel. use a controller with no assists on and you can drift through it with the braking line still red.
on wheel no assists you can spin randomly when the braking line is only just yellow.
on wheel stm assist on but not actually active you can take it like the controller.
on multiplayer 1 little tap and your gone. no chance what so ever to save it.

Re: FM6 - MX-5 Cup - Series Info
Any ideas on how good tuning approach to these cars.
Seems to have a little bit of stability issues in getting through the higher speed corners.
Need to be pretty light on the gas coming out of the corners.
How close to FM5 is the tuning.. ie can we apply FM5 calculators?

I think T10 needs to do a bit of work with wheel compatability. I'm having a few issues too with my g920. Still far more enjoyable than a controller though
