OZFM Formula Mazda Series One - Starts Friday 11th March 2016

These cars are incredibly fun to drive and race and I have selected a new format with the best tracks that are suited to these cars.

CASUAL VIBE + LOCKED TUNE + PERFORMANCE HANDICAPS + PIT STOPS + RANDOM GRIDS + DRAG TYRES

And of top of all of that, there will be PRIZES on offer.

1- The Car

2015 Formula Mazda

For every race, every car will be using this LOCKED TUNE. You can search for "OZFM Formula Mazda Series 1" in the description or search for the creator "Nate4984".

There are also 2 alternate tunes you can run that change the Braking Force Balance of the car from the default 52% to either 40% (Search "OZFM FMS 40%") or 60% (Search "OZFM FMS 60%").

These cars run Drag Tyres and will require Pit Stops.

Please display your Race Number on the Car. There are no other Livery Guidelines, so go nuts. Just remember nothing offensive or anything that breaches the Forza 6 Livery Rules.

2- Race Format

This series will be contested across 10 weekly Rounds held on a Friday night, starting on the 11th March 2016.

Lobbies will open at 8:00pm NSW (7:00pm QLD) with Race 1 commencing at 8:30pm NSW (7:30pm QLD). Each Race night should be 2 Hours or less in total.

Each Round will consist of 2 x Sprint Races at the shorter version of the Weeks Track, with 1 or 2 Longer Races, depending on the Track, on the Full Circuit.

Round 4 and Round 8 will be classed as "Enduro Rounds". They will have 2 x Full Races on the same Track.

3- Point System

Similar to F1, each Race will award the following points:

1st - 25
2nd - 18
3rd - 15
4th - 12
5th - 10
6th - 8
7th - 6
8th - 4
9th - 2
10th and above - 1

Race 3 & Race 4 each week, plus both Races in the "Enduro Rounds", and all Races in Round 10, will be awarded DOUBLE POINTS.

4- The Championship

There is only ONE Championship with the driver with the Most Points, after Round 10, is the Drivers Champion. You need to participate in 8 out of 10 Rounds to be eligible for both the Drivers Championship and any prizes. There will be NO DROPPED ROUNDS.

1st - $50 Xbox One Gift Card
2nd - $25 Xbox One Gift Card
3rd - $10 Xbox One Gift Card

Best Amateur Driver - $10 Xbox One Gift Card

This is not based on points but is based on the driver, who has an OZFM Amateur License, drove the best for the series. This will be an anonymous vote by every entrant at the end of the Season. The person with the most votes, Wins.

Round 7 - 22/04/2016 - Silverstone – 3 Races

Round 8 - 29/04/2016 - Nurburgring – 2 Races (Enduro) DOUBLE POINTS

Round 9 - 06/05/2016 - Watkins Glen – 3 Races

Round 10 - 13/05/2016 - Yas Marina – 3 Races DOUBLE POINTS

6- Series Rules

Some additional Rules to go along with anything else already mentioned in this thread:

1- Every Race will have a One Mandatory Pit-Stop (Trust me you will need to anyway).

2-  After each Round (based on Total Round Points), the following Power Boost/Head Start will apply for the next Round:

Top 3 Finishes = No Power Boost + No Head Start
Everyone Else = +5% Power Boost + 2.5 sec Head Start
Bottom 3 Finishes = +10% Power Boost + 5 sec Head Start

This is to try and keep things close and interesting for everyone each week.

3- Every Race will be a RANDOM GRID with NO ROLLING STARTS.

4- There is also the possibility of Championship Point Penalties if it is deemed necessary, this will be determined by an COMS Officials in their dedicated sections.

5- While there is no Team Championship, please feel free to match liveries and form Teams.

6- Please display your Race Number on the Car. There are no other Livery Guidelines, so go nuts. Just remember nothing offensive or anything that breaches the Forza 6 Livery Rules.

7- All Races will be a Forced Cockpit View.
