Be honest now.
I've only played about an hour online. It seemed pretty good except that I was massively slow and having my arse handed to me in every race I did. I will try and have another go at it tonight.

Fookin invite me next time yo

If you really want to feel the the FFB in GT6 do dirt races the FFB for rally driving is really good. So it just means that there is something wrong with the general driving FFB. I had some fun with Rallying last night. Nearly jerks the wheel out of your hands it's so strong....

I wonder what the deal is with road driving...

Probably because PD have only properly attuned the game to the T500. Darin from InsideSimRacing seems adamant that theres plenty of FFB in that wheel specifically. Haven't tried rally driving though, will give it a go tonight.

That said, i agree with what you said before, FFB seemed stronger on the GT2 after 1.04. Although i did bump the SPR setting all the way up too....

Hey you PS3 owners...

Found an 80GB PS3 with Logitech G27 plus a few games including GT5, GTA5 and Dirt 3 for $300.

The wheel is what grabs me and then my daughter can finally play Little Big Planet. So, worth it?

Have you already got a wheel? If you've got anything from Fanatec or Thrustmaster you don't need a G27. Its only Sony and PC compat (because Micropoof don't allow USB controller connections on the 360/Xbone) and compared to the belt driven systems in Fanatec's products its actually kinda shit. Its ok if you've got nothing else and can't afford Fanatec, but not worth seeking out.

The PS3 on the other hand and games, the great PS3 exclusives are genuinely worth getting the console for. However PS4 owners might be getting re-mastered versions of some of them soon (The Last of Us is specifically rumoured, and god do i hope it does get the 1080p60fps treatment). Don't expect GT5/6 to be exceptional. They do SOME things really well, but over time the really bad shit gets really irritating to the point where i've stopped playing.

Uncharted 1/2, Ratchet and Clank, Killzone and The Last of Us are still worth playing for yourself though. Also after playing inFamous Second Son on the PS4, i'd recommend inFamous 1/2 on the PS3 simply because i have no doubts that they are good games based on what i've played in SS.

PS+ also has some value in it, BioShock Infinite is this months freebie for PS+ subscribers, and i think Metro Last Light is still ongoing too.

Ps is free to play and if u buy a gold card u get lots of stuff  But like envy said gt is shit at the moment , some more stuff being added on the 7th. Plus for 300bucks you got urself a cheap 3d blueray player you control wit a wheel

Still not enough to bring me back especially after getting into iRacing Sad

In other SWEET ASS NEWS, The Last of Us Remastered confirmed for PS4 release! Always felt that game needed newer, more powerful hardware to fully realise ND's vision, and now it will!

http://www.dualshockers.com/2014/05/07/sony-e3-conference-details-leaked-uncharted-guerrilla-games-media-molecule-and-much-more/

Gran Turismo 6 is coming to PS4 as 1080p 60FPS repackaged title in the vein of Gran Turismo 7: Prologue. Stunning visuals, extra features (social connectivity, new tracks, dlc etc). Coming mid-late 2015.

That said, sauce is not the best....like at all. If true though....well they have to fix a lot to make it worthwhile.

Im downloading just to see if those sounds are actually in the game AND if they're as impressive as in the trailer.

Well, impressive for GT at least.

Couple of things, anyone else with a Fanatec wheel notice the massive increase in FFB in not just strength but articulation? I don't know when they did it, but GT6 now feels like a PC sim. The underlying physics engine is still pretty meh, but the FFB feeling monsters that of FM4 (which is actually kind of shit).

Second of all, managed to get a 2:17.5 in the latest GT Academy. Felt pretty great about it, had some areas that i could improve but that was one of my best drives in the game. Then you go look at the top time and you can see hes using ABS, TC and stability control. Frig sucks to see that.

I wish I knew where my cable for GT2 was so I could connect it up. Does anyone know where to get another cable?? I sick of using the PS3 controller. They certainly didn't have racing game in mind when it was designed.
