When does this come out? Might have to find me a nice cheap PS3. Will any PS3 run it? EB has a 40gb PS3 per owned for $138.

I think it is early December for release. As for the console the 40GB should be fine... If that is all that it being used for that is. I do recall that the 12GB had to be wiped clean to fit the GTAV install.

The downside will be online play if PS Plus is required as it cost the same as Live for a year.

It is free. There are standard and premium versions of the PSN.
Standard is free and you can still play online and then you have a premium version which is similar to XBL.
I personally don't think the premium is worth the money.

So far so good for GT6.
The handling of the cars is definitely a step up from GT5, The menu is clean and simple with everything easy to find. No more second hand car dealership. And Mount Panorama, All I can say is WOW.

Its funny, the only review-ish commentary i can find on the game is here. I'm still on the fence uhming and ahing about it. Is it worth the initial 79 bucks from JB, like is it that much of an improvement?

Do the cars still sound like washing machines? Hows the framerate? Does it suffer from jaggies like GT5 did? Loading times don't make you want to kill a baby?

Only the PS4 requires a PS+ account for online gaming (and only online gaming, anything else that has a subscription is not behind the pay wall. Not even party chat requires a sub), PSN on PS3 should be unchanged entirely.

PS+ also gives you free content (such as near-new release games) for free so long as you sub, and its not restricted to one console either. Log in with the same ID on PSN on a PS3, Vita or PS4 and you've got an entirely library of games ready to download on each platform. For example GRID 2 is free on PS+ in December.

Waffelz GT doesn't have a specific option to differentiate between clutch, shifter and paddles. If you want to use the paddles, just tap the paddles. Want to use the clutch, hit the clutch and don't touch the paddles and use the shifter. Simple as that.

The G25 also came with the better Logi shifter, as you can switch it to semi-autmoatic with that twist knob thingy.

Don't be disheartened, it is possible

Regarding tuning and the G27 brake pedal, anyone got any idea how to eliminate the race cars over the top brake lock ups and eventual spin outs when you try to turn and brake? Makes the first corner at Nurb GP a nightmare.

Strangely enough, the Red Bull Junior is perfectly fine and works just like a F1 car or anything in Forza....but the rest? Especially the Z4? Lel.

Nah mate had no idea, how is that done on the PS3? Or is it in the logitech PC software?

Also been reading up on the braking issue. General consensus is that the race brakes are bugged, but no ABS with standard brakes is a much better feel than in the past.

Can do it anytime it part of the wheel software. You hold down the two middle buttons on the shifter (start and change view I think) for few seconds the each of the other buttons hzve a setting. There is plenty bout I on GTPlanet . I use the 0 one puts it at 630° and what a diff it makes

Just gave it a go on the RBJ, holy hell that makes it much more fun to drive and more like a F1 car, as in the delicate steering inputs putting you around fast corners instead of yanking the wheel left and right.

And that sound....if thats the future of GT, i can't wait for the Feb patch (if they patch sounds in).

edit: The Sauber Mercedes has a in-car cockpit....last i saw that was meant to be a semi-premium job....I Frig LOVE THIS THING
