You won't be able to do laps to that number either dazz.

At 1:45 you're looking at 52 laps.

48 laps at 1:52/lap

I think we are limited to 50 laps... So 50 laps it is.

I think there is issues with the timed race, something to do with split times and distances.

Cant do this as have something else on,

Ok, so this is now V8 or 911, so make your choice and I will add it to the OP. Would be nice to see even groups but not too fussed.

Would also be good to see more entries.

8 people with separate classes is not going to work, esp if only one or two persons wants to run the v8's I suggest everyone posts what they want to drive just to get the real numbers for each of the cars.

Agreed, it would be nice if more sign up. But I guess some have lives. lol

I would like to drive the 911, just not sure I will have enough seat time to get one tuned up. So I will flip either way. 911 or V8

Sorry guys - I'd love to give this a spin, but I'll be away that whole weekend at a conference (I'm also missing a 6 hour endurance mountain bike race too!).

I'm happy to drive either of the cars to make it even numbers of both cars. The Porsche is fun but does try to spin me out at every corner nearly. Once I got it sorted a bit though its pretty quick. I think it will be a close race between the 2 cars as my lap times were within a second of each other.

NathanW add me as a friend and I'll send you a tune which makes the Porsche much easier to handle. Purchased a really good tuning spreadsheet from Slave Monkey which really makes a big difference. adjusting for preferences such as oversteer or understeer is easy as shifting sliders together.

I think we just make it all 911s. Nothing on this Tuesday night, so that gives me some time to set up a car.

With only 7 signed up, 3 don't mind and 1 for the 911. I think the majority have it as 911 Enduro.

Crimson, what version is that spreadsheet up to? I think I have v4.7, I would need to check though.

Yeah, It's 4.7 I wonder how he stops people giving the file away for free or even someone getting it hosted somewhere for free. (Not that I think it's not worth buying as I have bought it and am glad about it)

Did you read the whole thread Jester... there has been a bit of changing around. I will update the OP today sometime to clean some of it up.

Basically it is the 911 GT3 cars, 2 of them that start at PI 760. Upgrade brakes only, should bring them to 762 I think. Then we race around Bernese Alps for 50 laps. There will be one mandatory pit at a predetermined lap. (each driver will have their own lap to pit on) then there will be 3 randomly chosen pit stops at times throughout the race. So some people will have to pit more than once (luck of the draw).

1:46-1:47. I'm betting you guys will probably get close to 1:40-1:42

Thanks for that tune Crimson. Takes a bit to get used to to drive it smooth. I think I'm just really harsh on braking and turning into the corners but once I got used to it I was nearly hitting a 1:40s and I think a 1:39 is definitely possible. I stretched the gearing out just a smidge as I was pinging off the limiter just before braking for the corner at the bottom of the hill
