22/03/2013 - V8 Supercars Pink Slips Enduro (Friday Night)

The rules are pretty simple. The last place guy will lose their ride.

The Event will be run over 3 races made up of 2 sprint races and one Enduro. The sprint races will determine the starting order for the Enduro (Lobby Points).

The last place guy in the enduro will need to gift his car to the guy in front, 2nd last gifts his car to the guy in front… etc. So who ever wins get the car that came 2nd and keeps his own car. Simple?

Lobby opens at 7:30PM QLD time, Race 1 starts at 8PM QLD Time.
Lobby locked at 8PM to invite only.

Race 1: 10 Laps, Mugello Club Random grid start.

Do not take off your ready tick (don’t even change your build/tune), as we will go straight into Race 2.

Race 2: 10 Laps, Mugello Club Reverse Grid start.

5 mins break… not a second longer.

Race 3: 25 Laps Mugello Full Lobby Points start. Pitstops are optional. Sim damage

Now for the kicker… there always has to be a kicker…

The car builds:

Race 1 and 2
Engine: stock
Brakes: Race
Gears: Stock
Driveshaft: Race
Tyres: Race (stock)
Tyre width: 340 Front and rear
Rim: 18" Wedsport SA-97 F
PI: S 735

Race 3,
Engine: stock
Brakes: Race
Gears: Stock
Driveshaft: Race
Tyres: Drag
Tyre width: 310 Front and rear
Rim: 18" Wedsport SA-97 F
PI: S 699

Have both tunes ready when you enter the lobby between 7:30 and 8:00 AEST.

Oh one more rule…
If you don’t like the rules above then shut up and don’t turn up.

The only person not loosing their car is the guy who wins the enduro. Pinks only swap hands in the last race.

So will first place get 15 cars?

Everyone will end up with a car, last will end up with no car and first will end up with two cars.

Ford drivers may end up with a Holden... And vice versa.

Might go a ford just to come last

Guys I am changing the car builds to reflect the upcoming V8 series.

Races 1 & 2 will run build option 2 and Race 3 will run build option 3.

I will update the OP when I get to a real computer.

I will also throw both builds on both Ford and Holden in the OZFM and 0ZFM car garages hopefully tonight.

I think this might be my swansong series on here. It's not the same place anymore. What ever happened to freedom of speech? Are we being run by Nazis? If some one can put a picture of a statue holding another statues c ock but cannot mention P!nks slits, maybe this aint the place for me.

I have added the cars to the OZFM Car Club Garage for those who would like to use them. They have what I call my "base tune", nothing specific to any track, however I only use a wheel, so that may effect those using the gamepad.

I suspect those in the 0ZFM garage will already have their cars sorted, but if you need me to I can add them to there as well. Just need to find some cheap deals in the Auction House over the next few days.

I picked up the #1 Toll Holden for 200,000 and the #19 Mother Ford for 220,000 in the AH (both buyouts) with plenty more that price or cheaper if can stay on to bid. Might get some for less than 10,000 if you are patient enough.

Yep, sure is some good deals... I picked up 4 cars this morning, 2 fords, and 2 holdens for between 100K and 150K each.

So whoever gets my car will get some cheap piece of crap auction house car that has more than likely been owned by some "hoon" and been thrashed all its life...lol

will hopefully make this one. driving back from newcastle late Thursday night/Friday morning so might not make it if Im still asleep

You go the idea Reapr, in the spirit of the event it would be good to give away the actual car you use on the night. For me I can not part with my Michelin Ford even though it has not got much of a pedigree. So I will be driving on the night an auction house crapper, cause I know I will need to give it away... Unless everyone else lags out...lol

I will be up for this, now to find the next gen V8 from the dark graves of the AH, mechanics will be busy today restoring her back to the glory it once was( well with less panel damage and a splash of paint anyway).

Do we have to pass on the tune and paint that we raced with on the night or is it just the car, I'm thinking who ever I pass my car to can have my tune anyway _ its just a bit a bit special !!!

The paint would be nice, tune is a bit hard to police, so it is up to you.

Just remember you can not gift a car with "store bought / locked" livery or decals. One good way to test this is to try and list the livery on your storefront, if you can , then you are good to gift it over. Unless you win. lol

This is more for a bit of fun, and a twist to make it interesting. For me this place and Forza in general is getting a bit too serious and with serious I also mean boring. So forget the past (or learn by it), Move on, and have some F#$@ing FUN! guys. I personaly climbed the Sydney Harbour Bridge a few weeks ago, and while it was not difficult, I thought, well this is a bridge and I got over it. Time to move on.

Plus it is a nice fun way to test the cars before the poll ends on Saturday.
