All drivers will have at least one mandatory pit stop. There will also be 3 random "mechanical" stops on lap 15, 30, and 45. These will be randomly chosen by driver position and announced on the previous lap. eg: driver in position 2 now will pit on lap 15; Driver in position 5 will pit on lap 30...

Small change to the pit stop rules... added the following to the OP

OK, slight change of plans...

Each entrant will have a mandatory pit stop, decided before the night, then on the night there will be 3 "mechanical" pit stops using the random number generator. So that means everyone will pit at least once, and there will be 3 extra stops. I sure hope the same person does not get 3 mechanical failures on the night... that would just suck to pit 4 times, lol. So the 3 pit stops will be spread through out the race (lap numbers will be known, but the driver who recieves the "mechanical" stop will be luck of the draw and based on position at the time. This all makes sense in my head, please ask questions if you care to know any more.

Yep, I wonder how they compare to each other lap time wise... Might have to have some testing. But I am happy to group them have say 8 of each if that works.

It will be the Festival, just not sure on the direction. It is the one that you come down the hill over a bridge then over the start line. Whatever direction that is.

That's forward. lol I'm a practicing. It's oh so easy to lose it on those high speed elevation changes. I'm currently running ave 1:52 but I have done 1:45 when hot lapping and not caring what my car looks like at the end of it.
Dazza I betting you it 1:45 safely every lap.

Faster guys will be a lot faster. WHy not use the timed event set to 90 minutes instead of trying to work out laps.
