GT Enduro championship
What: A 3 round Enduro series w/ 80 - 100 minute races
Cars: M3, 458, Corvette and Viper gt cars, possibly the DBR9 in a separate class (6 GT1/10 GT2 split)
Builds: same as Dektra's GT series for GT2 cars, Aston stock
Tracks: Silverstone GP, Nurburgring GP, Road Atlanta full
Format: 1x15min Qualifying, 1x80-100 minute race w/ 2 mandatory pit stops. Safety cars enabled, rolling start. Qualy and race on same night, 16 sign ups max, fill ins permitted, teams allowed but not mandatory.
When: Sunday afternoon/nights, beginning the weekend after the Abu Dhabi GP, dates: 30/11, 7/12, 14/12
Tell me your thoughts guys, ever since the V8 Enduro I've been itching to run longer races, these cars lend themselves to the format and are balanced with each other out of the box, also I'd like to run some multi class racing as I haven't had a chance to do so on forza yet. Also I've purposely kept the series short to keep it interesting as 7-8 long races may turn people off

What do you guys think about multi class? Is it too much of a pain to try and sort out or is it worth a shot?

Re: GT Enduro championship
Hi Hillcrest,
Great idea. During the endurance rounds of the V8s, I heard only good things from the guys I was racing with - we all enjoyed ourselves immensely. I especially liked the safety car rules (They're allowed, and cars can unlap), as it keeps everyone in the game.
In terms of splitting into two classes, that'd be interesting, but I'm not sure if we'd get the numbers. With the different pace in the V8s, its almost like two classes - some people are routinely seconds per lap faster than others.
I'll look at my calendar, speak to the g/f, and see if I can be free for Sunday nights
