Fanatec new race rig announced, plus a hint about Australia
Seems Fanatec have a few things up their sleeve. The new seat looks interesting seems it was designed and sold as something else first.

"It has been a bit quiet but this is because we were working on a lot of things and there will be an update on the announced new products and the Australian shipments within the next two weeks."
Yay - finally. It's taken them a bloody long time!

Umm ^^^ the new website is already up and does include Australia... http://au.fanatec.com/index.php?region=au
But before we all get to excited, no stock has been added as yet but still good to see the prices, and i wonder if they will add the Elite wheel?

Well, there's the end of the Pagnian Imports as a Fanatec reseller.SG1 RAZOR wrote:Umm ^^^ the new website is already up and does include Australia... http://au.fanatec.com/index.php?region=au

From the look of it, theres a significant benefit in reduced cost to the buyer and I won't compain about that.
As for the Fanatec wheels, I like the button layout of the CSR better than my GT2 wheel but I'd want to upgrade to the CSR Elite for the improved design and engineering if anything. So I hope they bring them in the future, the clubsport wheel is a bit too expensive and isn't currently xbox compatible. Don't think I'd bother upgrading my clubsport pedals to the V2 unless something went wrong with mine.

I wonder if that's why Pagnian haven't been able to get stock for months? Perhaps Fanatec were deliberately stalling them to start selling direct.
