Yeah why not.
No limits on performance mods (apart from keeping the stock drive train whether it be FR or AWD), just pick a car & change it as much as you want each race. Maybe a 660 PI limit..

Hey guys, im looking for someone who is keen to assist me in setting up a Petit Lemans series, similar to what they run in the states. 2 classes R2 and R1, enduro type races (but not too long) quite a few cars in LMP and GT1/2. I have just read the whole thread and apart from Killa and perhaps Stu, i couldnt see much interest in this, however, i reckon you would get at least one room. Im in the process of going thru the car list now, and as for tracks...Road Atlanta, road america, sebring, lemans lesarthe, the ring, and ring GP, etc....even mugello or similar perhaps. These cars handle nice, and are quite comfortable to drive long distances. And they are wheel friendly as well as controller.
So....anyone interested?? show of hands for the series and a willing volunteer?
PS word has it craig lowndes has his eye on the 24hr Du Lemans, just like his mentor Peter perfect.

I like the idea of multiclass racing - I just don't think it works all that well with the 8 cars on track that we have at the moment... With a little bit of luck we'll have 12 or 16 in F4

yes i agree, a bigger field would be good. however, 4 GT1/2 cars and 4 LMP's is cool too, or even better 2 lobbys! one with GT's and one with LMP's. Stu's 2.4 hr had em mixed up and it worked ok...dunno.

Whats that about, the idea is good and I'll help you run it, if you like.
Do have to remember we only have limited numbers so can't handle multiple major series simultaneously.
Also I think better off sticking with one class just for depth of competition in a small field.
Lets talk in PM, need to work out some details about how, when, you know the drill.

I'd be interested in the multi-class race, those cars can be a handful but are quite fun to drive.

I would like to see a return of the Evolution Series. (cars that run from C-S class, changing class each round). Epic production car racing. *remembers his AudiS4 fondly*

As a new driver in Forza3, the Evolution Series taught me the critical importance of the car 'build' and started me on the road to tuning mastery.

There is no other series that could possibly teach drivers how to tune and build cars better imo.

think that was one of Manics series if i recall correctly.
Def one that we cmay be able to slide in during the week somewhere.

I have 2 suggestions.

1: NA RS1800 A600 cup.

2:Muscle car cup..Old style with steelie rims,no flashy paints ust a number box.Maybe sport suspension with slickery but almost full weight so you get crazy body roll not sure what class...maybe C or B.

im working on three series at the moment the cosworth is all systems go than after that its Gojira racing than another series pre1980's cars with restrictions to the build (574PI) than another series 1980-2000 cars with build restrictions (no PI yet)
