What difficulty settings do you have?
Hey guys just out of interest what do you guys have set on or off so I know when doing timed runs what I should have set eg:
Traction COntrol : Off/On
ABS: Off/ON
Steering: Simulation etc
I never use manual gears and race with the joypad but I assume that is not really an advantage as I'll never generally be as fast as someone who can use gears and shifts well.

I'm using expert setting in all game modes.
Thats no assists, full manual and clutch.
Gives me 165% in career mode.
Using a fanatec wheel an CS pedals.

Same, with one exception, I use the braking line on the new tracks... just till I learn them.

Re: What difficulty settings do you have?
I had a few games online and could only get 2nd place it seems most people play with a lot of assists cos even with same vehicles I was not making mistakes and the guy in front was beating me by like 6 secs..... I mean I am not super duper but just TCS ABS and STABILITY plus easy mode steering give people a huge advantage I think.

All off except for ABS, and no clutch. Depending on the car I may use TCS, but with practice I can do well without it. Haven't really learnt how to race without ABS :/.

Re: What difficulty settings do you have?
i was curious do most of you guys that are fast use the racing line? i turned it off and i think im faster using my own lines, but the game is a lot harder when racing on the circuits i dont know.

Re: What difficulty settings do you have?
I use the braking line but not the racing line. If I have the racing line on I tend to follow it blindly and don't learn the circuits and funnily enough end up braking late on a lot of the corners. But thats just me.

Same for me with the exception of having rewind switched on just in case.

I might switch it on until i learn the tracks then ill slowly create the better lines as i go...i can manage without the line with anything up to A class, but beyond that it just gets too quick. The sense of speed in forza is immense i love it
