Love that Southbank waterfront shot. I reckon if you very slightly cropped it to get rid of the corner of the building on the left it would look better (or you could just paint sky over the top of it). Either way. Smile

so i got my new toy Very Happy

i was in the kitchen and looked out the window to see one of the best sunsets i had ever seen, so i ran to my room and ran outside, saw a cool looking tree that i thought would make a great silhouette. i ended up with this;

my trusty old spot down at Black Rock haha! sitting on the beach freezing my arse off lol. just pointed my camera up.

it took me a good 20-30 shots to nail the focus and the settings to get the right exposure, and as little noise as possible.

Yeah, the focus can be weird. I always assumed you'd just put it to infinity and take the shot, but it appears to be slightly back from there. Use to frustrate me taking film shots to find some blurry! But I loved being able to take several hour exposures with film. Smile

this one is from my first event being official photographer. all you holden lovers are gonna hate me, it was taken down at Lang Lang, inside holdens proving ground where they test all their cars before they are put into production (and no i didnt see any secret cars). Very Happy
