Spool's Real Life Photos

Hey guys..

On friday I went down to Sydney Olympic Park to watch the practice day of the Supercars at the awesome street circuit. I had quite a good day..

Here are some of the photos I took, and yes some are out of focus, but with me being a noob with cameras, I found it difficult with the meshing around the whole track! But here is how they turned out, all without editing done. Enjoy

great timing on the first one mate, well done! only critisim i can give is that the photos dont have any sense of speed. use a slow shutter speed to achieve this, around 1/60 is good. but start at 1/200 and work your way to the slower ones. its harder than it looks

what gear where you using?

one thing to remember when shooting through fences, is to use a fast aperture such as f/4 or faster if you can. this blurs out the fence, but you have to use a faster shutter speed (no motion blur).

Cheers, I was trying all different things throughout the day.. We stole my sisters christmas present that she hasn't got yet lol.. Its a Canon 1000D with a Tamron lens which was about $600. Its decent starters gear, but Im still learning haha.. If my webpage allows me, i'll upload a few more.

Oh god yes, however isn't there an image cap? I'm starting to worry since i got so many Forza pics on my account...

200 pictures, then it will only display your most recent 200 if you go over 200. you can pay to get all your photos viewable though.

Went to Avoca beach today for a family breakfast. Found some decent spots, and managed a couple average shots.. Would love criticism as Im still a noob at this haha.

When I go to the edit bit, theres only 1 button that comes up, the host an image one and the rest aren't there WTF?!

use flickr mate, its so much easier.
