Yes not handing over the keys of a classic Mustang to an 18yo.... You've got good grounds of child abuse there

Re: Show Us your Ride!!!
If I was 10 years younger and didn't have a daughter, I probably would have kept it... Not really a family car...lol
I won that car through work, kept it a month (only did 1400 Kms in it), then sold it. If they had given me any other car that we make, I would have kept it, but having a family meant I needed 4 doors.

Re: Show Us your Ride!!!
Heres some pics of my cars. American muscle and import
2002 Ford Mustang GT 5 spd: Front Chin Spoiler, Rousch Side Skirts (side exhaust in the works), Black FR500 Rims 18x9 up front and 18x10.5 on the back wrapped in sticky Toyo T1R tires. (Love taking this car sideways!)
Under The Hood: Stock 4.6 liter V8 (289ci), BBK Cold Air Intake and Light Weight Pulleys, Accufab Throttle Body and Intake Plenum, DiablSport Tuned Computer, Straight piped (no mufflers, very loud!)
1994 Toyota Celica GT 5 spd: Custom Intake, Exhaust, and Chamillion Paint Graphics. (I wish it was the GT-4 turbo AWD, that was an amazing rally car. Still this car is surprisingly quick and agile for FWD, on the road and dirt.)
Paint from a different angle. Purple to green depending on the angle.

Re: Show Us your Ride!!!
A few pics of my various cars. I love rotaries as you might notice. I'll start with the project cars..
RX3 - Genuine S124A coupe, S4 13B BP, 48IDA, S4 5spd. Beautiful car. Wish I didn't sell it. Only paid $5000 for it, can't buy them for that anymore
S2 RX7 - My old street weapon, 12A BP, 48 IDA, LSD, did awesome flameouts when you backed off at 8000rpm
S1 RX7 - My rally car build in progress, currently a stocko 12A 6port, highly modified Nikki carb, S2 LSD, will be a 12A or maybe 13B BP when I can afford it.
Now for my daily drivers...
Can't find pics of my 1982 KE70 Corolla, it was nothing pretty anyway. It was my first car, learnt to drive in it and then loved it for a few years until it got written off by a stupid bitch driving through a red light, I wasn't speeding or anything, just going about my merry way. It had a freshly rebuilt 4K 1.3L carb motor, match-ported exhaust ports, bored 40thou, 70/30 cam, extractors, 2" exhaust, lowered 1" with Pedders shocks and springs. It used to surprise AE86 twin cams and commodores/falcons when we cruised to Aspley Maccas about 10yrs ago.
Bought a stocko 1980 VC S/LE V8 253ci Commodore. Nice car to drive for the age, owned it for about 3yrs until it got written off by another stupid bitch texting while driving. She ran up the back of me while I was stopped to turn into my drive way.
Got the insurance money and bought a 1990 Corolla SX. 100kw motor, 2 1/4" exhaust. Pretty much a stocko except for my stereo I kept out of the Commodore. Very loud exhaust (due to the previous owner) but a great car to drive.
Just sold that to my dad a couple of weeks ago and bought a stocko 2001 Ford AU XR6 Pursuit ute to tow the rally car. 174kw VCT motor, 5spd, power everything, leather trim all over the place, Momo steering wheel, 6 stacker CD player with factory amp, 17x8" factory mags, genuine hard tonneau cover. Very nice car to drive.
Plans are to get Pacemaker headers and a 2.5" exhaust with a bit of a note. Get rid of the hard tonneau for some alloy sports bars and a soft tonneau so the dog can ride in the back.
If anyone in Bris has a n AU-BF ute and wants to swap a genuine Ford hard tonneau for the alloy bars and soft tonneau, let me know.

Re: Show Us your Ride!!!
That's a mighty fine time for an N/A Love those little 323s.
Reckon it'll make 10s? That would be awesome to see.
Ordering the roll-cage for my RX-7 today so fingers crossed it's ready enough for the first event at the end of January next year. Still a lot of (expensive) things to do to have it up to a raceable stage between now and then though. Need to win lotto.

Re: Show Us your Ride!!!
thought you may enjoy that, plan is to go back to night drags on frinight, hopefully track will have heat in it from during the day, and the millibars are way up to make some good power, will go to bigger jets and going to change final diff ratio, its falling outside of preffered rev range with current diff, so with those changes kinda expecting to go flatt 11, but definatlt aiming for a 10sec pass, that would be awsome, all fingers crossed...!

Re: Show Us your Ride!!!
Got my cage mostly fitted up and bolted in last weekend. 1 bolt through every bracket, so this weekend will be drilling the second hole through every bracket. I lost 1.5kg over the weekend just from the effort it takes drilling all those holes and holding everything in place etc while bolting it up. I promptly put those 1.5kg back on with celebratory beers on Sunday night lol. Monday wasn't a pretty day at work.
Also ordered the springs and shockies yesterday so gonna be a busy few weekends ahead getting everything installed. I've got an LSD that's been sitting there waiting, new urethane bushes, Whiteline adjustable front swaybar and adjustable strut tops.

Re: Show Us your Ride!!!
The roll cage is finished and inside is all painted now. Over the past couple of weekends we've stipped the roof back to bare metal and cut out/repaired all the rust. Just gotta paint strip the rest of the outside panels and decide on a colour design. I'm thinking a bright yellow base with a BA Ford metallic purple detail up the sides and around the back.
