Re: Show Us your Ride!!!
This is my current ride. 2000 HSV VT2 R8 6 Speed.
Just clicked over 100k, basically had her since new.
Usual bolt ons and a exhaust that's a bit too loud for the street.
220kw last time she was dyno'd.
Also own a 1979 HZ GTS 308 that about i've just finished up the body work on.
(Man those doors liked to rust!)
From a family of car nuts and car projects.
We have several old 50s Chevy's on my side.
Garage full of LTDs, XA & XB GTs on my partners
Brother in law has a big workshop but he's into imports..
Sure makes for some good conversations over the xmas table each year

Re: Show Us your Ride!!!
This was my ride until March last year - 2000 TJ Magna. What started as a Advance-spec model soon morphed into a VR-X upgraded interior with custom door trimmings and roof lining (black velour), VR-X rear suspension with 3-way adjustable anti roll bars front and rear, king springs all round, upgraded brakes, Bridgestone RE002-wrapped 17s and few other treats. Perhaps not customised or upgraded in the same class as some of the rides here, but was a nice clean-cut ride and served me well on club cruise and drive days.
Sad part is, the new owner didnt take care of it a whole lot, and only a few months back it was involved in a prang of sorts where she copped (what looked to be) a written-off hiding. Might have only worth a few grand, but still shits one to tears when time and money was spent in upkeep and a few upgrades. Oh well......
This is my current drive - 2008 FG Falcon G6. Previous owners included a retired couple and a Principal for a Catholic School.....Clean and well kept, and apart from slotted rotors on the front - she is a stock as it will get. As tempting as it is, I don't have a real need to upgrade it at this stage. Maybe G6E 18's at some stage as the G6's 235-50-R17s are unique on the market, Goodyear Excellence are $260 a pop - Ive had 3 punctures this year where the tyre was unrepairable.
.
My first ride was a Oct-88 Toyota Hilux LN56 - a 2WD, 2-door, 2.4L Diesel 5-Speed. Last of the "square" shaped models from the 80's. Mates and I called it the "40-120" model - 40kmh going up the hill and 120kmh going down lol.... half a million clicks and never blew any smoke....141kmh top whack. Never got a photo of it...was an "awesome shitbox."

Lol Mighty Boy.
Falc looks like a nice, clean cut ride. Hard to find a BA XR6T that hasnt been thrashed or looked after. How many klicks?
