Mate it wasn't meant to mean I like them either it was a statement saying how many there are in the game. But then that is obvious being made by the Japanese.wylie27 wrote:Paul,

Re: Gran Turismo 5
Nice pics mcrow
After a slow start to GT5 it is really starting to warm with me, There is LOTS to do and the in cab view while racing is fantastic,
I guess I was a little overwhelmed at the start of the game with what to do and how to go about it, But starting to get there.
IMO money well spent and have no regret's on purchasing this game.

Re: Gran Turismo 5
Strange, after playing GT5 thru the weekend, the cars in Forza honestly didn't feel as connected to the road when racing Maple Valley last night as they do in GT5.
Question is though is it because of crappy wheel I have for forza with not proper force feedback, or is it the in game physics engines of each game?
Sorry you didn't like it Rinkly, but Forza 3 is an excellent game for motor racing needs.

Re: Gran Turismo 5
Setle down guy's i didn't say i don't like it. My complaint it is NOT worth $300
for small model MERK locked in a display case, with no opening gullwing doors
a photo album, key ring, usb stick and a wallet. Oh lets not forget the polished black box it came in. The one thing i haven't mentioned is the APEX book. Now that was very good with lots of how to tune your car for different types of
track. Now i can go and pay under $100 for just the game,so sorry Stumbles
i may need the Maxda, but you never know it might arrive in your garage.

Re: Gran Turismo 5
Whittie260 here
I'm borrowing from a mate for a couple weeks cause he's in Japan.
It took 2 hours to do a system update, game patch and install JUST TO FREAKING play last night.
So far, impressions: The menu is bloody confusing, I don't like the no rear view mirror in bonnet cam, can't find how to turn music off in game, can't change to metric units, don't like the modelling of the 'standard' cars and they look like they're from GT3, do like the tyre and traction model.

Send out some FR's newbie's. There is stacks of single player stuff to do so you can build your garages up. I may be on tonight, the xmas thing I have on today starts at lunch, but there is no finish time. I will know 3 people there, my wife and 2 kids so at around 1pm I'll be asking if we can leave yet. Should be home by around 8pm QLD time if that plan works!!

Re: Gran Turismo 5
yeah i know what you mean mcrow bit of a letdown aye nothing compared to forza's unlimited amount of things to do and its easy user interface, im not selling just because me and a couple mates like to have comps on the wheel to see who is the quickest and we each bring a prize under $20, pretty much only reason im not selling for more parts for the lex lol
