Forza Motorsport 4

I used to buy from EB, but they always set price at RRP.
Then you have to ask them to price match, which they will do.
But I figure they're just trying to rip off those that don't know or don't ask.

So I'm thinking JB because they usually set their price lower and they'll price match as well if it comes to it.

I had seen above that JB mentioned that preorders would all be LCE. I'll confirm that with the as well.

I got the final Pre Order details direct from EB.. had the guy there print out there ifno that they have received..

if u preorder.. its confirmed u get the Forza4 Limited edition ..





@iWolf .. I agree with u wolfie.. i think all stores will charge full price if no customer asks.. there all shift i tell ya..

Pretty simple Teeroy, if you pre order you get the stuff listed above, no matter where you preorder. In the US there is some mention of different stores having a different bonus car, so far in Aus there is no mention of this. Turn10 has said that each of these bonus cars will be available on release day through DLC.

So go pre order the LCE and maybe get a surprise bonus car.

Dazz is pretty much correct teeroy.. most of the store in aust will have the same deals with preorders .. from the info the guy told me at EB..

Another thing to consider with EB is they will honor any other discount from on other store on LE edition on your pre-order.
So if you pre-order at retail and ABC games offers thet LE @ discount price on the release date, you can ask for that price. The only stipulation is that the discount price is the same LE product, bonus game content if any from EB games is just that a bonus and is still considered the same product.

Win win!

So, just had a look at EB Games website. Preorder Forza 4 standard edition is $98, and the LE is $128.
$30 for a shiny case (which will disappear on a shelf somewhere), some stickers (which I'll lose) a glossy mag (which I'll throw out), and a few extra cars which I prolly won't drive and they'll end up as DLC for bugger all $ anyway.

Can anyone convince me why I should get the LE?

Sent an email to T10 to get the incentives rewards. Thought the email with pic of receipt should be enough.
But the web site says you should leave a message on facebook or send a tweet.
Anyone else read it that way?

I did both iWolf, Emailed T10 and tweeted a message to T10.

Dont know how there charging 128 for the LE edition.. as my guy said it 89 for the LE edition.. but i preordered close to 3 weeks ago so maybe that is why he updraded mine to LE edition.

They do say that's the estimated price. Maybe they aren't sure yet?

Dazza, I got one of them, too. Funny: I didn't write my gamertag on the docket. Didn't think they would accept it. Can't wait to see what they're going to give us.

How does this incentive program thingy work? What incentives do they mean? And did you pre-order online [fm.net] or just go throu EB? And does the incentives only work throu pre-ordering via fm.net?

Speaking of which EB has this gig going where if you trade in a game, they will double the price of that trade-in when you put the credits towards pre-ordering a new game.

Eg: trade-in value of Black-Ops is $25 bucks - im putting that game towards FM4 so i now get $50 for black ops!!

You can preorder at your local game shop, scan the receipt, and email it to T10. Then you need to send them a message either via facebook or twitter.
