mcrow5 wrote:well i do have a little bit of respect for him. he's driving a 600+HP car, pretty light as well, very quickly. i know when i was learning to drive, dad gave me a go in his VZ clubby, and coming from a little barina i was shi^ scared driving it haha!
Light???Light???????????? They are 1350kg cars hahaha! I have more respect for them for driving cars with big power, big weight & skinny minny tyres IMO!
Bloody commodore drivers, thinking that 1350kg is a light car lol! Its just that your commodores are porkers hahaha!
My Subaru even has nearly about 100kg less weight than a that, it tips the scales at 1242kg (on the last weighbridge ticket for my compliance plate). Only 320 or so hp though, wish I had 600

i drive my VX SS like its a Barina Mcrow, but ive had V8's since i was 18, so im quite used to the weight, other cars just dont feel right anymore, kinda feels like go kart driving.

My clock goes to 320 - haven't had it that far yet, but been up over 250, which is quite an achievement on NZ roads...TEEROY 34 wrote:i reg have it off the clock, i do a fair amount of highway driving and normally i just dont have the patience for 100kph, 240+ is the way to go.

hahaha that was during the toyota cruise, we passed 20 odd cars in a 1.5km overtaking lane, the only car to give us a go was the v8 soarer.
might have to put a pic up of the mobile artillary soon

Re: V8 SUPERCARS - CAR OF THE FUTURE - Here come the other manufacturers
Sorry but what is the point of having more manufacturers when the cars are all exactly the same anyway?
This is seriously why I don't watch the Supercars anymore, since project Blue Print it just doesn't have the same 'feel' anymore. I miss the old days when we basically had modified road Falcons and Commodores on the track. Even before that when we had all manner of manufacturers in the game it was more interesting than the team based sport it is now.
As a Holden fan, I'm going to continue blaming this on Ford and their poor sportsmanship (please note the sarcasm, please, no flame war intended)

This is do able.
The Giz was actually part of a Supercar race in Forza 3, setup by the NZgamer.com guys.
A few guys got to spend a few hours with him one evening blatting around in the FM3 supercars.
