Re: Tuesday Night Slap Dash Porsche/Ferrari Showdown
The #83 Risi Competizione F430GT has near identical PI.
Ferrari F430GT - 6.6 / 7.6 / 9.1 / 8.2 / 7.6 / 2635
Porsche GT3 - 6.6 / 7.7 / 9.2 / 8.9 / 7.7 / 2690
So essentially, the Porsche has a launch advantage, but its a fraction heavier. I realise the PI system is flawed. But for the sake of including everyone, I'm happy to accept the flaws. Across three races, over 3 tracks, I'm sure it'll even out. Besides, I think we all make enough mistakes to level out whatever PI advantage the cars give.

Why not just use the RUF... at least everyone has access to one of them.

Sumo to the rescue again, with a great suggestion. The F430gt is non dlc option. Any issues with this? Title will get changed to slap dash showdown I think.... if you have the Porsche's please use them.
Does anyone have an issue with no tuning or do we allow what can be tuned?
Sorry using a tablet that seems to struggle with this site.
Sorry Dazza no NOS but if you press the Nos button you can make the noise I'm sure no one will mind :-)

Re: Tuesday Night Slap Dash Porsche/Ferrari Showdown
I win. We've run Porsche's before, but on a Friday. its generally accepted that we don't run DLC exclusive events on Tuesdays, due to its extreme popularity.

Re: Tuesday Night Slap Dash Porsche/Ferrari Showdown
OK well then we could do a s700 RUF RGT-8 series has anyone done that yet thats about as close to a Porsche cup as we are going to get what do you think of this idea.

Re: Tuesday Night Slap Dash Porsche/Ferrari Showdown
I think the idea wasn't so much about Porsche's per se, but running a quick and simple, one make series that we know has worked in the past, and was enjoyed by most. If we race the RUF, we may as well race any of the cars in Forza as a 1 make series.
Additionally, it allows those who are clever with crayons get to show off their talents again.
The addition of the Risi #83 Ferrari allows for non-DLC people to participate, whilst still being a race car, being of similar PI, and being of similar config (mid engine, rwd).

Re: Tuesday Night Slap Dash Porsche/Ferrari Showdown
Sumo's on the money there trying to keep this dead simple so we can all race tonight in known cars and simple format thats easy to the throw together. Risi Ferrari is the alternative now and name changed. Its all about having a fun race together as we always do Tuesday. This is my first attempt at throwing something together so really appreciate the input from everyone. I'll be a whole lot better next time :-) Goomf Teeroy you guys back in? People can pick which ever car they want to race.

Wait, wut?
Well you see we all enjoyed racing the Porsche's so much we thought it'd be great to roll them out one more time. But, as some people don't have the DLC, so they aren't left out of the fun we've made the race into a 2 make battle. Two arch enemies of the track - Ferdinand Porsche vs Enzo Ferrari. Just like the old days. History is littered with battle scars left by these two great car marques - all we're missing is Henry Ford...
Choose your weapon. Will it be Ferrari or Porsche who are victorious in this battle across Europe?
Slow day in the office...
