Tuesday Night Slap Dash Porsche/Ferrari Showdown
This is a follow on from the last thread but formalising an idea.
Quick and dirty setup and dead simple so anyone can jump in Tuesday night minimal effort and to avoid any possibility of OZFM dying...
Event
Slap Dash Porsche Cup
Car: Porsche 2011 GT3-RSR (#17 or #045)
Car: Risi #83 Ferrari
Build: Stock only, No tune
PI: 760
Race Numbers necessary
Livery Optional
Assists - Thanks Recoil
Suggested Line – Optional
STM – OFF
TCS – OFF
Braking Assist – OFF
ABS – OFF
Steering Assist – Optional (Normal/Simulation)
Shifting – Manual only, Manual with clutch recommended
3 races - Per Sumo's suggestion
Hockenheim National 25 Laps
Silverstone International 25 Laps
Catalunya National 25 laps
Pit stop: 1 Mandatory from Lap 2 to 24
Lobby Open: 2030 AEDST
Start: 2100
Grid: Random
Standard OZFM CoC applies
No restarts unless roll overs onto roof occurs at start. Then I might consider a 1 sec delayed start.
Feedback welcome and sorry if there are some errors as I've just put this all together. I think there's enough here for everyone to get the idea and get numbers for the night.

This... this makes me sad...
P.S.
My Android car is painted up ready to go.
P.P.S
If anyone wants an X-Force, QANTAS/Seek Job-search, Apple, Alpine, Porsche Design or Koni car painted up I can transfer them onto the 2011 models with little difficulty.

Re: Tuesday Night Slap Dash Porsche/Ferrari Showdown
What makes me sad is that there is no track DLC. Then I'd probably fork out some dough. I have a bit of trouble justifying paying for new content when I bought a new game but essentially paid for old content and a gimmick in Auto Vista.

Thanks for the host offer ill be able to host so add me as a friend as required/if. Stingray possible to be secondary if i hit issues? I'll sort all this out when I get home, new job so really under the pump right now. Goomf bugger the Porsche packs worth it. Everyone just keep posting I'll monitor through the day. If we can follow the standard race entry details that would be awesome thanks for the response so far! Should be awesome tonight :-)

Re: Tuesday Night Slap Dash Porsche/Ferrari Showdown
The only bad idea about this race is not everyone has the Porsche pack so as you can see it can cause some problems.

Re: Tuesday Night Slap Dash Porsche/Ferrari Showdown
The #83 Risi Competizione F430GT has near identical PI.
Ferrari F430GT - 6.6 / 7.6 / 9.1 / 8.2 / 7.6 / 2635
Porsche GT3 - 6.6 / 7.7 / 9.2 / 8.9 / 7.7 / 2690
So essentially, the Porsche has a launch advantage, but its a fraction heavier. I realise the PI system is flawed. But for the sake of including everyone, I'm happy to accept the flaws. Across three races, over 3 tracks, I'm sure it'll even out. Besides, I think we all make enough mistakes to level out whatever PI advantage the cars give.
