Forza 4 Title Update

Just got hit with the update.

Check the PI on the cars noted for change, those said to be glitched. Darts, Coronets, etc may have had their PI changed with the upgrades you have. Some have gone from their imposible C class PI to a realistic A or even S.

If you have posted a time in any of these affected cars be warned your LB time will disappear.
Out of the above cars I don't think any of mine changed, maybe they were not built to exploit the PI. Some people have found their Dodge Darts jump right up to S class.

Check all of your tunes for the above cars in your SF as they will no longer be accurate but will not be removed by T10. The AH cars will automatically change when either finalised or cancelled. Any of these cars in a club garage will be automatically removed, so fix them then put them back.

What is the best way to ensure my profile does not become currupt. I play Forza on 2 xboxs 1 is for driving and the second is for capturing replays and making liveries etc (stuff that requires a controller). I use a 16Gb USB stick to hold my profile and swap it from xbox to xbox.

I am concerned if I update on 1 xbox and the above staement says it will alter my profile, what will happen when I plug in to the 2nd xbox without the title update.

Help from T10 would be nice, if you guys have tested this situation and can pass on some tips that would be great.

If you guys have any ideas what will happen, I am keen to hear from you. I am reluctant to play Forza until I hear from someone that my save game is safe.

Unsure what will happen with your "portable" FM4 save file. I have done the update and found no issues with my save file. I think only one car that I could tell had a PI change and this car is not on the list... BMW 850CSi gained 2 PI... still have to check the 2 or 3 I have from the list in my garage.


I have updated the car list above with the PI changes that have been made on the stock car. Some did not change so the build is where the PI will be affected. Some cars had a considerable jump in PI.

Hey SUrfer, can we now see everyone's liveries while racing? Have not tested this yet. Only been on the public lobbies to test out multiplayer.

Not surprised - but if its crashing less then its a start, im just glad we got it before the OTCC started

Got a good 6 or so races in with no loading issues til same as Sly, xbox froze when returning to a lobby.

- edit - froze in a lobby without having raced at all. Looks like freezing will be the new black.

Broken lobby in Cycled Production, failed to load a Rabbit GTI round and an Evora T124 round...

I did a fair bit of public lobbies over the week end and didn't get 1 load fail, very happy about that.

I did get 2-3 game freezes and had to turn off/on the xbox and had the same problem as Car Steer in cycled production.

All in all I give the update 2 thumbs up.
