Also over the next few weeks a "Warm-up Lap" and "Race Flags" system will be introduced.

Re: IGP Manager League
Congrats Scorpion on your 2nd place podium position.
Triple Eight Racing also finished in the points, and Hawks GP only just missing out. Very hard track to overtake on, traffic really made a difference to some teams.
I am wondering if new patch has some glitches in it. Weather was showing as overcast for me and everyone seemed to be on soft tyres, but my son (Warthog Racing, who normally finishes in top 5) was right down near last and he said it was showing rain for him and the moment he pitted and put on wets, he was laping much quicker in the 1:28's, but most were doing 1:30's to 1:27's on softs. Hmmmm.
I just spent big on a Merchandising Tent and Weather Station, down to 14 mill, hope I haven't put the team close to bankrupcy.
NB: Scorpion, sumed up really well above, look at this first season as building/establishing your team, don't get hung up on results yet

Re: IGP Manager League
It was nice to get close to the points for a change. I was about 25 or so seconds from 10th after my second stop with only 8 laps left so I told my driver to back right off, hopefully saving the engine, which made me fall back quite a bit further.
As for the weather mine definitely said overcast, 16 degrees I think, I actually saw when the Warthog driver changed to wets and I thought 'someone's taking a gamble!'

Re: IGP Manager League
If I am reading the details of the latest patch release correctly, everyone now has access to the 2D Viewer, enabling them to give real time race instructions.

Not the actual viewer. It adds the "Pace Settings" to the Live Times view for free members

Re: IGP Manager League
Well done you blokes, a lot of teams in the points this week.
Semper GP, Hawks GP, NGL, all in the points.
This was the first full length wet race I have been in and I must say I learnt a lot, which should see me perform better the next time the whole race is wet.

Re: IGP Manager League
My first wet race too. Had the Intermediates on for the first stint which cost me big time.
Learning each race :-)

Re: IGP Manager League
My prep for races always goes.
A: end of nights race, prep for next race by setting the pit stop strategy, choose which parts for the mechanics to work on, and choose what areas to train staff and driver in.
B: race night withing the 30 min before prep time lockout, run my practice laps.
Because I couldn't make it on tonight I had part A of the prep done, but didn't get any practice laps in to fine tune the car for the track.
Qualified 12th, but amazingly finished on the podium in 3rd place, could not have been happier.

Well done. That 1 Pit strategy you seem to run works well.

Re: IGP Manager League
Only 6 or 7 races left to go, which means only a month to go until the end of season.
I have placed a comment up on the League to gage any changes people may like for the next season, along with a poll to see if teams would like to remain at 1 car teams or change to 2 car teams.
There is a 7 day break between the end of season 1 and beginning of season 2, would teams prefer a 14 day break between seasons.
Please take into consideration when making comments to take into account, that I want this to remain completely accessible to new free members that may come across the league in the future.
Thanks.
