7th OZFM Off-Street Drag race & Burnout comp results from the 17th October

Well it was our 7th OZFM Off-Street Drag race and our 1st on FM4 and what a night of racing. We ran on the Infineon Qtr mile and had 6 of us rock up ready to hit the strip.

Well it was AGRO and aspire lining up 1st in the 2 fastest cars of the night with a dial in time of 9.750 for both of them (AGRO’s tune) Agro kept it consistant throughout his runs with his worst run being his 1st run. aspiRe found it hard to get in the rhythm but in the 4th pass he hit his dial in giving AGRO one run to try and match his time which AGRO did forcing it into a shootout. aspiRe managed to hit a good run to win with a 9.773 over AGRO’s 9.800

Newcomer xXD3IIvIIONXx (RRT_Demon) in his 1st OZFM Drag tourney was off to a monster start hitting his Dial in on his second pass. 3 of his 5 runs however he broke out one of which was by a massive -.149 Not bad for a tune i just did for u before the race dude!! Rotaary shared in a double Break out 1st run running the same time difference as Demon. The second run he missed out by just -.001 to hit his dial in and tie with Demon. In the end Rotaary gave it his best to try and hit his dial in but just missed out.

I stalled on my first run of the night running a shocking 1.167 over my dial in. I gradually got quicker through my runs saving the best run till last hitting +.016 over my Dial.
MINI was off to a good start but in his last 3 runs pushed it just a little too hard breaking out in all 3 runs.
**** I moved on with a difference of +.016 to MINI’s +.035****

This time around i was a little more consistant and managed another +.016 above my dial in.
aspiRe had a little trouble with his beast of a Fairlane running 2 runs over a second off of his dial in and only managed a still very respectable +.033 off his Dial in

Its the final race of the night and what a way to end it. Im thinking i may have wanted to have my Dial in 10.076 instead hitting that time twice to go just -.001 under my Dial and only managing a +.014 above my Dial in in the 4th race where newcomer Demon Hit his Dial in and took the win in his 1st Drag tournament.

We also held our 6th OZFM Burnout Comp & 1st on FM4 with Real Smoke!!

We had a winner for most % of tyre wear in a 5 minute period and also a winner for best burnout style (we dont want people just sitting in one spot doing a line locker)

aspiRe au takes out the tyre wear section with an insane 1 minute and :04 seconds. AGRO stated he was going more for style in his Gary Myers flamed 65 Stang.

Was another awesome night Pacman, its always fun getting beat by someone who is using your tune, not once but twice lol, damn you Aspire

Yeah its funny getting beat by your own tune but those guys did a hell of a job driving them.
I'll hopefully get some more pics and the results of the style comp up soon. just havent been back on the box for a bit.
