5th OZFM Off-Street Drag race & Burnout comp results from the 19th September

Well it was our 5th OZFM Off-Street Drag race and we had yet another new guy running the quarter mile with us.
Only 3 weeks till the release of FM4!! Cant frigging wait!!

Mini spool jumps off the blocks to run just +.017 of his dial in his first run. But i hit back running just +.016 off my dial in the second race. The rest of my runs i was strugging to get the 1000hp TSS Supra to hook up with Mini Spool running his Dial in on the last run.

Both drivers came out hard and ran the same difference on their Dial in of +.016
Rotaary in his 1st OZFM Off-Street drag race tried to hook up another launch to take out the win but in the end both drivers were tied forcing a Elimination run.
In this race Oversteer runs a 11.599 (+.082) to Rotaary’s run of 10.766 (+.017)
**Rotaary won the race but had to leave due to a prior planned Black Ops clan battle forfeiting the race to Oversteer.***

Debuting a new car wiggaphil struggled to get a good pass in his Saturn sky and broke out twice trying to get close to his dial- in (maybe should have stuck with the Commodore).
Agro also deduting a new car had a little more luck running a best of 10.250 on a 10.233 Dial,

Agro had a shocker this round braking out 3 times running his closest time above his dial in @ +.234
Oversteer came out strong hitting an 11.534 on his 11.517 Dial in
***OVERSTEER moves on running +.017 off his Dial***

CDS MINI SPOOL recieved a bye into the final by running closest to his dial-in in the 1st round.

Its the last round of the night and MINI SPOOL probably wishes he had set his dial in at 11.333 break out twice hitting that time.
It was some really good racing but in the end it was TNT OVERSTEER who hit his dial-in to win after running just 1/1000th under his dial the run before.

We also held our 4th Burnout Comp

We had a winner for most % of tyre wear in a 5 minute period and also a winner for best burnout style (we dont want people just sitting in one spot doing a line locker)

here are the results for tyre wear-

1st – xPPRTxAGROV8x – 95 Mazda MX5 Miata – 100% after 3:57
2nd – wiggaphil – 95 Mazda MX5 Miata - 100% after 4:42
3rd - xPPRTxPACMANx – Toyota Altezza – Left tyre 97.4% Right tyre 100%
4th – CDS MINI SPOOL – 06 Pontiac G8 - Left tyre 29.3% Right Tyre 29.7%

AGRO brings back the mighty Miata to reclaim his crown as burnout king.
This week we changed up the rules making it that the car had to weigh more than 2500lbs (1130kg) and 800hp or less.
With the introduction of the new restrictions i changed my car to the 2jz powered Altezza but it wasn’t enough to take out the Miata’s of Agro and Phil.

***congrats to the burnout king AGROV8 for taking out the Tyre wear section of the comp in his Gold plated Rotary powered Miata**

here are the results for style –

1st – CDS MINI SPOOL – he may not of fried too much off the tread but he was getting nice and close to the walls.
2nd – wiggaphil – tried hard to beat Agro in the tyre wear part of the comp but still did some nice circle work and near misses on his way doing it.
3rd – xPPRTxAGROV8x – Agro was focussed on reclaiming that crown so there wasn’t alot of style happening but was still good enough to take me out and claim 3rd place
4th – xPPRTxPACMANx – The altezza started off strong holding nice angle creeping down the burnout pad and getting nice and close to the walls but i hit the walls hard a few times trying too hard to show off.

Yeah thanks fella's its picking up slowly but come forza 4 hopefully it really gets going. especially with the love turn 10 gave to the drag racers.
