New update and GT2 Wheel

Is anyone here suffering from no feedback due to live update? I didn't find any issues with mine. Maybe they got it fixed.

I dont remember getting an update.

I've got extremely weak force feedback - and a massive hole in the middle of the wheel that is essentially a force feedback deadzone with absolutely no feeling at all now.

There has been heaps of talk of this on FM forums and others after the Live update, apparently they (microsoft) have pulled the update(last tuesdays update) now as its buggy, some wheel users are stating that the FF works after a few wheel re boots and comes back on after a few laps then its fine after that till they next turn forza on.

I didn download it, so all good, but there is sure to be a fix for it soon, till then Im not sure what you can do, blame microsoft for a shitty update...

I haven't seen this update either, and am not having any FF problems with my wheel. Lucky I guess.

cable fixed it, didnt drop out but i had a wheel freeze lap 9 of 12 .....F*CK IT!

Just put my wheel on for the first time in a couple of weeks. Weak feedback for the first lap but after that it turned to normal. Strange. I hope they fix this up soon. For now I think I'll just run a practice lap on Friday before racing for real.

Just prompted to do another major update. Will test now to see if anything changes

I got the new XBL update tonight and my wheel and pedals are still working ok.

Yep this morning after seeing Wolfie and Crimson's posts I had to have a look.. Wheel seems like it's back to normal now - from a pretty brief blat round the ring.

Only jst got an update this morning, a whole week since people started getting updates... wtf?

I think they put a big stop on the first update after they found out that it caused problems with force feedback...

After fixing it - it looks like they're rolling it out completely.

Ah fair enough.

It seems to be mostly ok.

I've noticed "occasional" momentary loss of FFB since the xbl update.
Never had anything like it before and the only change on my system is the xbl update.
So I have no reason to suspect anything but the update as responsible.
It has happened maybe 1-2 times per evening. FFB just goes then comes straight back.
I hardly have time to register that FFB is gone and its back.
Oh and I've had one disconnect since the update as well.

Apart from that it seems ok.
