Formula C Championship Series Infomation

Formula C Championship

This will be a 5 round championship with each round consisting of 2 races with the 1st being a shorter sprint type race with a duration of 25 - 30 minutes; the 2nd being the feature race running for 45 - 50 minutes which will most certainly make the cars stop for fuel.

Race 1 race distance 70kms - 75kms (Azure Circuit 60kms)
Time - 11:00am
Practice - 20 minutes
Qualifying - 10 minutes
Warm up - 5 minutes

Race 2 race distance 125kms - 130kms (Azure Circuit 107kms)
Time - 3:00pm
Qualifying - 10 minutes
Warm up - 5 minutes

No compulsory pitstop (Pitstops will more then likely be required for fuel in the feature 2nd race of each round)
Forced real life assists
Forced Interior View
Damage full except for Azure Circuit which will be off
Mechanical failures - off
Tire wear, fuel usage set to real
Flags & Penalties - on
Time progression - real
1 weather slot for each race
Race date - Actual race date

Each race will score points towards the championship.

DNF's will be awarded points based on lap number they DNF or drop out at i.e. 10 racers, 8 finish the race awarded points for positions 1-8, 2 DNF's, one drops out at lap 12, awarded points for position 9, other drops out at lap 5, awarded points for position 10.
No shows will be awarded first points place after last place or last DNF points. If more than one no show, will be awarded equal position points

7:50pm - Race 1 qualifying
8:00pm - Race 1 warmup
8:05pm - Race 1 25-30 minutes

8:40pm - Race 2 qualifying
8:50pm - Race 2 warmup
8:55pm - Race 2 feature race 45-50 minutes
9:45pm - Finish
