NGTC - Round 4 - Indianapolis GP (9-1-16)
______________________________________________________________________________________________________
Night Roster:
4 sessions
- 8:30 Lobby opens (MadRacer38)
- 9:00pm Qualifying (3 laps)
- 9:10pm Race 1 (13+1 Laps - Qualifying Results)
- 9:40pm Race 2 (13+1 Laps - Race One Lap Times)
- 10:10pm Race 3 (13+1 Laps - Modified Reverse Grid)
All times are Eastern Daylight Savings Time
The night will start with an 3 lap qualifying session, which determines the starting order for the first race, the fastest driver lining up in pole position. This will be conducted at 9pm, any who join after this will start from the back of the grid for race 1.
The lap times of race one determines the grid order for race two (i.e. the fastest lap in race one starts on pole for race 2). Dirty times will be included, do not abuse this else you will receive post race penalties.
For race three, a draw takes place to decide at which place the grid is 'reversed'. This means drivers finishing 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th or 10th in race two could take pole position for race 3 depending on the outcome of the draw. For example, if the number 7 is drawn, the driver finishing in 7th position in race two starts on pole, 6th place starts in second place, 5th place starts in third etc. Drivers finishing in 8th place and beyond would start race three in their finishing order for race two. The draw will be determined by a random number generator.
- Grid positions will be organised through a formation lap at the start of all races, it is up to the lobby host or a predetermined member of the lobby to organise the starting order.
- During formation laps, drivers should not engage in dangerous driving actions. This includes, but is not limited to, swerving, sudden acceleration and deceleration, driving in reverse.
Such actions may cause collisions and cost you either grid positions, championship points or both. And you'll look like a tit.
- Grid position penalties may be issued for on track misconduct.
- There is also the possibility of championship point penalties if it is deemed necessary, this will be determined by an external party in a race stewards room.
- There are no mandatory pit stops.
ALL RACES ARE ROLLING START
Grid order will be called off one at a time, no one is to move from their grid starting position until their names are called.
Once everyone is in starting order, the pack will proceed to an 80km rolling start which may proceed to race pace, at any point after the final turn (Turn 14), at the lead car's discretion.
There is to be no passing before the start finish line.
Remember guys, 13 laps to pass people, don't dive bomb first corner!!!
