OZFM V8 Series X Round 3 [16th-23rd September] Silverstone GP

Qualifying Format [19/8/14]:

08:30pm: Lobby Opens
09:00pm: V8 Series 10 - Q1 (20 minutes)
09:30pm: V8 Series 10 - Q2 (20 minutes)
10:00pm: Support Series Events

Lobby positions will be based upon fastest time across both qualifying sessions.

Race Format [23/9/14]:

08:30pm: Lobby Opens
09:00pm: V8 Series 10 - R1 (36 Laps, +1 Formation Lap, Results of Qualifying

Approx 1h 20m of racing)

All times displayed are Eastern Seaboard Times.

Being a Endurace Format Round, There will be safety cars enabled.


- Penalties may be handed down for those who exhibit unsportsmanlike behaviour. This includes, but is not limited to, excessive contact, verbal abuse, written abuse, excessive blocking, brake checking, corner cutting etc.
- If you feel that there may have been an incident that warrants review, please contact a series organiser, admin, moderator or race director with your concerns. Evidence of misconduct is required. 
- There will be two mandatory pit stops.

The Cars

The OZFM V8's will feature the stock V8 Supercars plus added Race Brakes and Race Driveline. Drivers can tune their cars as much or as little as they wish.

I'm not going to make qualy tomorrow - is there any chance of a quick session tonight? No worries if it can't be done

Since there's two qualy sessions and one race, is it simply the fastest time for each person from both sessions to make the grid for the race?

Hey Stiko, you may not be aware, so just gonna fill you in. If at any time before qualifying night and after the last race night you feel you might not be able to make qualifying, you can organise to qualify before the official sessions, but not after. Or is it after 12am hahaha nevertheless, you get the idea

I won't make quali tonight. Have had issues with my ISP the last few weeks since moving house and although I'm churning to a new provider our current ISP disconnected us! Hopefully will be right for race next week.

Also, just want to mention that it is of the best interests of all racers in the room to NOT participate in drifting or have their car parked in a position where it can be off-putting or a distraction to others if they finish their qualifying early - if you are happy with your lap time then and dont want to put down any more quali laps then it is asked that you park your car in a place where it will not distract anyone else and dont move..!!!!

I seem to recall a blue & black falcon driving backwards while a few people were finishing up their last lap..... Jus sayin'

Get your act together guys.  I've heard numerous complaints from lobby one Qualifying this week. I know who you are and you will not be invited to future sessions if your behaviour continues

Yep, i put my hand up Beef. Its why i mentioned it. It was discussed after, complained about. Passing on the feedback to others to avoid any conflict.

I was a reletive minor offender compared to a few others in our room however but.

I suppose we all just need to respect everyone's space on track, without being too pedantic of course. Glad I'm not the only one to complain about the same thing

Looking at the gap between bottom times for lobby 1 and top for lobby 3... and with lobby 2 results (plus those who qualied beforehand) still to be posted, I reckon the cutoff for room 1 next week is gonna be tight - my money is somewhere around 2.07.3xx. Good to see lots of packs with similar times

Well then, It looks like I'm in room one. Don't know how I done that time but it was the only 2.07 I did lol

for some reason my game clip didn't record, from memory it was a 2:08.484, I was in the session with dektra so he may have the time
