GT Sprint Race 4 - Spa [10/5/14]

Race Format:
1 x 3 lap Qualifying Session (Random Grid, Collisions Off, 2 Second Roll Off)
1 x 13 lap Race (Random Grid, Collisions On, +1 Formation Lap, Results of Q)
1 x 13 lap Race (Random Grid, Collisions On, +1 Formation Lap, Results of R1 Reversed)

Race Rules:
Lapped cars
- It is the responsibility of the front runners to call blue flag if they come up behind a lapped car.
- It is the responsibility of the back runner to move off the racing line and allow the lead cars though at earliest convenience. Failure to do so is very naughty, and won't win you any friends.
Pit Stops
- There is one mandatory pit stop in each race during sprint rounds.
Restarts
- Drivers are expected to show caution during the race, restarts will only be called on the formation lap or the first lap of the race, and only due to lag outs..
- Drivers who are at fault for causing damage another car during the formation lap will be required to start from the pit lane, thus forfeiting their position from qualifying, they may not start until all other cars have passed.
- In the event of multiple cars requiring a pit lane start they must line up at pit exit in the order in which they qualified (fastest in front). They must still wait until all grid start cars have passed.
Safety Car Rules
- Safety cars are called if there is a serious enough incident to warrant one (3+ cars or a massive hit)
- Drivers are able to pit during safety car periods, and they will count towards your mandatory pit stop.
- If a driver who does not have damage decides to pit during a safety car period, they accept that they may lose positions due to this pit stop. The "No Overtaking during safety car" rules will still apply. Any positions lost due to this pit stop are not reclaimable under safety car conditions.
- Drivers are able to un-lap themselves during a safety car period.
- Damaged cars have right of way to the pits and may pass the field SAFELY. After their pit stop they must then rejoin the back of the pack.
- There is a designated safety car restart zone on Spa:
- - Any time post Eau Rouge
- All restarts are done at the discression of the leading driver. Once they put the power down then it is the responsibility of the field to react and accelerate also.

Yep I will join also, might try a different beast on the list to the Vette that I used last time I raced these.

No probs if I have to, as it doesn't bother me, just thought it was a chance to drive something different to what I have before. Also when reading the op and how it said it wanted different 'diversity' of cars across the field.
Last time I raced these near half the field was the Vette, maybe I will build all of them and put a tune on all of them just in case

We called safety car. You backed out, we backed out to pick you up, you were gone. We did everything we could to get you back into the racing

Watched the replay, and my apologise to Hillcrest in the last race as it was me who tapped you to start with then it escalated quickly from there, First corner second lap, that's why I waited up and gave you someone to race for a few laps after you pitted, tho that incident with you kinda started from the corner before, last corner 1st lap with a solid rejoin from an off the track car putting a couple of us out of position coming into that corner, but doesn't matter as still should of pulled it up.
Also dukie both our cars just exploded on the replay for no real apparent reason, small rub then bang, kinda sucks how Forza does that.
Jokes on you mate!! Didn expect you to slow down so much and then you quit, kinda like taking your bat and ball and going home cause its not working out the way you like, as been said we all backed out to pick you up and just maybe watching the F1 Qualifying became more appealing eh, if you had of just waited you would of heard an apology and we could of gone racing again, we all have bad runs and bad luck at times and Forza itself doesn't help with its laggy hiccups. but bailing and not bothering nor trying to re join or anything really then coming on here saying "What a joke!", hmmm okay.
