There is discussion going on in the back rooms about shifting them forward to a late February / early March start

Re: The OZFM V8 Supercar Specs
If daylight savings is the prob just start at Syd/Melb time and us weird QLDers that don't change our time can just start early, there's only a few of us normal time ppl anyway...Just don't understand the holdup, ppl want to race them NOW/SOON so why all the delay? All we keep hearing is soon, but soon keeps moving further away.

Re: The OZFM V8 Supercar Specs
are you guys crazy, April?
Dont wait for people (this includes me) just get on it. The game came out months ago.
I agree with Reapr, 3 days notice and you got a full grid.
Im hanging to see some FM5 in game race footage for the V8's series.
I know theres other series and stuff going on atm but the flagship series is the V8's (well it always pulled the biggest crowd).
Hope you can manage to squeeze an earlier gig.
This hopefully means series 2 will be in April, i should be able to make my FM5 debut about there and bring some style to the grid hahaha

I'm in whenever you run race cars... well maybe not whenever, but I do like the V8s and will be signing up! Already started painting the beast, and now I have fixed my PC I can get back in to it.

Re: The OZFM V8 Supercar Specs
+1 for starting earlier
lets get this done.
It's our main series and will hopefully bring in more members so we can run a couple of lobbies
...and any of you great tuners feel free to PM me your tune..
yes I'm looking at you Stiky
also if anyone has some pics of your V8 post them up so I can use for banners/promotion stuff

Re: The OZFM V8 Supercar Specs
Found the above a while back, seeings as we can no longer do Templates for series i thought this had some potential.
Simply mod it with OZFM logos etc, write in the post below the placement positions (X:Y) for what ever decals you need to use.
There are other blank templates about too, just a matter of searching

Re: The OZFM V8 Supercar Specs
I was thinking of keeping it simple like the last series.
All decals made, just need to share them.
Stick 'em on your car and add your number to the black box.
I can copy and paste the old rules then modify them to fit the limitations of FM5.
If someone goes for a shared design of a replica it should have the official V8 stickers in the same locations but no number.
The lack of gifting is going to be a challenge but I have ways to make it work.

Re: The OZFM V8 Supercar Specs
you can share whole layer groups of the sections of the car that way we can add our own designs with them

Waiting till April is a mistake, there a heaps of aussies keen to race them and no other forum is doing a series yet. OZFM should get in early
Haha Dropbear doesn't feel comfortable not being competitive because he doesn't have a tuner (tuna) for his v8.
