yeah more groups sounds good il include that this arvo along with some custom groups with more restrictions and name them group A,B,C etc

Stu, is it too much work for you for us to just throw up a time with the car and PI and you slot them in to the right category?

I am just a bit confused with all the categories.

theres no way of getting to leaderboards via online web is there ?? or only in game ??

The leaderboards in the game only have the same old filters they have always had...  Everyone, friends, and near me.  As everyone is not on everyone's friends list it does make it hard to track via in game or even on the web (not that I have found this yet). So I understand what Stu is trying to get here... Great idea IMO.  An OZFM leaderboard. A lot of work for one man.

The other "new" feature available thanks to xbone is you can now have bigger friends list, just wondering if the OZFM account may come in handy here.  Not sure how big the new list can be, maybe someone else knows.

You have a track chosen, now let me know which car to use in a specified class then no probs or is it just choose any car and run around Bathurst posting your best time in that car?

the groups are set out pretty simple say i want to do 4cyl modified production. i would look at the INFO section and it says production = non race cars and modified = no restrictions so now im looking for a 4cylinder non race car that i can modify with no restrictions
if i wanted to race Group A the set rules in the info say car must weigh less than 1100kg and have no more than 300kw
and for Group B there are no restrictions on power or weight only the year model has to be between 1967-1973 and no drivetrain or engine swaps

they are mostly power laps if it says no restrictions on the info then modify it as much as you want
as i said the groups are set and there are more to come with different restrictions

Hey Dektra, Look at where we are on the leaderboards with stock cars!
All these people in 700PI, fully tuned cars would be a little suprized, ha!

Also, after a skim through, if you beat my time again (no doubt it will happen) you will be the highest car on the leaderboards that is not 700PI. And that would be in the top 300 too.

Lotus E21 X999 Group F1- 1:50.187 can get it faster but this is my only clean lap.
