Yep nervous, part of me thinks I should have walked right back to EB and swapped out, just because jolts like that can't lead to good things, but she's working just fine so not worried right now.lakerslegend wrote:Bet you were nervous switching it on ...im glad it works .

Re: Forza Motorsport 5 - What we know so far.
Tyres - I did 2 laps at Spa and 2 laps at Bathurst. I saw about 2 - 2.5% wear across the tyres. I did a 30 second burnout which took tyre wear to 10%. They were stock tyres, stock cars.NoRecoil wrote:Right.... Please answer the following peps!

Fuel! - Infinite tanks again?
Damage! - Have they gone back to the F2 stile of pitting?
Fuel - Didn't notice fuel burn
Damage - I took heavy panel damage at Bathurst. After pitting the bodywork still had 100% damage, but I was lapping at the same pace as prior. Again - stock road cars.
All of the above was in free play mode, not multiplayer races.

On FM.net there has bee some talk over a "Super Pass" that would give you all 6 car packs and the 3 expansion packs. I would guess that one pack is Nurberg early next year. I am holding out on the Car Pass till more is confirmed on the Super Pass.

If not there are some pre-tuned and painted cars plus there was a special Audi R8 that had a code emailed (only if you have your account set up to receive spam from M$) and the Yanks got a code for the 2012 Chevrolet Mt Dew #88 Camaro ZL1 via Mt Dew's promotional website every2minutes.com.

There is also an Audi R8 LMP and Ford Mach 1 Mustang lurking around. Probably be released in DLC's so T10 can make some more cash for less work

You can use a xbox 360 wheel on Xbox one, no FFB but is being developed, and supposadly Fanatec csr is being developed for use as well.

You'll probably get another one too. Was talking to someone today who has three. Soon you could mock up the entire 2013 grid

Re: Forza Motorsport 5 - What we know so far.
It's the 6 million dollar car give away!!
Another Lotus...
And I went for the Ferrari 250 GTO for the reward. 12 million credits worth of cars FREE!!! But what to do with the spare Lotus? I suppose when the day comes I can just dump one of them, didn't pay for them. lol
That wheel idea looks good. $7 to $20 for the USB adaptor from Ebay and it will work on PC and should work on the ONE. Watching Dazza's video makes me want to try it as his steering looked very smooth.

Surfer, that was on normal steering, not so smooth on sim steering. The normal setting sure makes things easier. While the sim steering makes for a rewarding lap when you get it right, normal steering will shed a couple of seconds per lap. After learning a lot if guys are using normal steering, that's what I will be using now.

Re: Forza Motorsport 5 - What we know so far.
It looks like another 2 car packs have been announced. The June pack will be out next Friday (May 30) with a July pack also due later on.
How much?
Well... The Car Pass should have run out by now with 6 packs already released but T10 will add both these new packs to the Car Pass. So that means 8 car packs (80 cars) and the 2 Booster Packs (10 cars) in total. This kind of makes me happy that I spent the extra and got the pass the other week.

And T10 dropped off a BRZ advertising their merch store.

I think the Target Honda is popular.Envy The Best wrote:Question: Which Dallara DW12 is most widely used for liveries?
You can search out liveries before you buy the car so a good way to see what is available or to see what can not be painted. Also you can paint ANY car in the game (excluding DLC you do not own) without adding it to your garage. Another way to check out glitches before you buy.
