Race Club is back!

There is a big Friday series getting drawn up by MadRacer so while that is still in the planning stages and Clarkson has an Enduro planned for this Friday so I think we need to put Friday back on the Race Calendar and get back on track for some regular fun and competitive racing.

7:30pm (Syd, Melb, Bris, Hob time) start till 8:30pm. Lobby for the 2.4 hours race should be open straight after.

For the Race Club return we will have a Civic Cup. EG and EK Civics, 165kw VTec K20A (stolen from an Integra) and <1000kg, hoping for some close racing. Kind of based off the British Civic Cup and similar build to one APEX used back in FM2.

This Friday may be testing or we just get racing, let you know soon.

The Builds:

Car 1994 Honda Civic 1.5 VTi

Platform and Handling:
* Brakes = Sport
* Springs = Race
* Roll Bars = Race (front and rear)
* Chassis Reinforcement = Rollcage
* Weight Reduction = Race

Drivetrain:
* Clutch = Race (triple plate)
* Gears = Street (short shifter)
* Differential = Sport (1.5 way)

Tyres/Rims:
* Tyre Compound = Race (slicks)
* Front Width = 225
* Rear Width = 205
* Rims = Volk TE37
* Size = 16" (front and rear)

Aero:
* Front bumper = J's Racing
* Wing = Bomex
* Rear bumper = Bomex
* Side skirts = Bomex

Conversion:
* Engine Swap = I4 - Integra R '02

PI A533
162 kw
206.1 Nm
951 kg

All other parts are to remain stock.

PI A541

All other parts are to remain stock.

Both cars seem to be almost identical in stats and extremely close on track (tested on Tsukuba). I think it is 0.4 seconds between them untuned at the moment.
Will test both with Sport tyres as well to see how they handle before I lock it all in.

There you go, 7:30 till 8:30 then straight to the Nur for another 2.4 hours. Sounds like a full on night!

Sorry, forgot all about this one Clarkson... All good as Race Club was set up to fill in the early spot. Might be more a test run this week so not to tire out the enduro drivers.
