Firmware 756 Download
We have a new firmware version for all Porsche 911 GT2 and Turbo S wheels (Xbox versions)
This version is a release candidate and if there will be no bugs reported we will release it as final firmware.
Please note that you must follow the the instructions carefully. Installation on Windows 8 might work but is not tested.
Make sure that you bind your wheel and calibrate the shifter and center position after the firmware update.
IMPORTANT: If you upgrade to this version then the RF dongle does not work any longer. If you want to use a wireless connection on PC and PlayStation 3 then you must use the original 681 version.
We will release 756 for CSR, CSR E and PWGT3RS within the next weeks.
Please make sure you use driver version 144 or higher with this firmware.

On the ball again Dazza, thanks.
I've downloaded it, but will probably wait until after tomorrow night to load it.

Do you guys have a turtlebeach headset with the wheel? If so, Let me know if they fixed the mic being too loud when connected to the wheel.

I am using TB headset P12 while my other headset is in for replacement, this firmware works on chat and others mentioned my chat was louder but not unbearably loud which I think seemed to be normal for fanatec wheels, As for the firmware still sorting my preferences but feels good at this stage.

Re: Firmware 756 now available for PWGT2 and PWTS
So far am finding this firmware better than 681, everything seems to be working well, maybe the tinyest of wheel shaking at times when holding bottom of wheel slightly of centre but nothing thats of putting or to worry about, have noticed this firmware is stronger in it's spring and forcefeed back. Am enjoying it(firmware) on FM4 and think I have it dialled in to my preferences pretty good now.
Guess the next big test for this will be when I load up F1, Dirt 3, FH and NFS.

Thanks for the updates Sleuth. I have not had a chance to touch the xbox or wheel since last Tuesday night... maybe the weekend. (I keep saying that).

Re: Firmware 756 now available for PWGT2 and PWTS
I loaded the 756 firmware and tested it last night.
Result:
The wheel feels slightly heavier using the same settings as before.
Oh yeah, I had 6 wheel disconnects in about 2 hours as well.
I've posted this on the fanatec 911wheel website and since I wasn't getting any disconnects using the 750 beta firmware I'll be switching back before I use the wheel again.

My problems might've been from not re-binding the wheel.
Did so tonight and no problems so far. Will give it a longer trial see how it goes.
