Forza Horizon Italian Job
I thought I'd post up an idea that a few of us had last night
OZFM Forza Horizon Italian Job Series
Idea
Build a 1965 Mini to D300, any upgrades are allowed. We will then run various playground game modes with these cars once a week. Championship points will be applicable, unfortunately due to 8 per lobby set ups, we will have to run multiple rooms and will be scored as one group.

Pick your own colour + window tint. Once the combo has been chosen it may not be chosen again.
Gamertag | Car Colour | Window Tint |
Dektra | Mr Bean Yellow | Stock |
WhackedBurzum | Black | Pink |
surferofthemind | Rally Yellow | Stock |
feralcobra | Lime Green | Blue |
thousandsumo | British Racing Green | Stock |

Don't want to be the bad guy... and please don't mis read this. I love Horizon, maybe more than FM at the moment. I am all for a series in FH, however I think it would be to the benifit of OZFM if you made sure FM Series got preference and the night you choose to run this does not conflict with any other series of FM. I think the main nights you will need to keep clear of is Tuesday and Friday nights. Also check whats going on Thursday nights casual events. If you want to run this on the Thursday nights over a set number of weeks, then please post up in that area so people that dont run FH know whats going on.

Fax. These would be run AFTER a series is done for the night. Release any tension that built up from the'serious' racing

Re: Forza Horizon Italian Job
Maybe you should ask people to stop sending out FH invites while we are in a FM4 series as well. I got about 5 invites while racing the Seats on Friday night.

Re: Forza Horizon Italian Job
Hard to call this a "series"... This game has really put the fun back into Forza and I agree that this should not take over from a dedicated FM4 race series but be that stress relief you need after a grueling race night. Nothing wrong with making it a little more competitive.
I vote to have my run either after the SEAT's on Friday night (unless I am needed on the Battlefield) or better still on a Saturday arvo or evening. Saturday might be a good night for some playground fun. A night we rarely see an event on so maybe we make this the night we head to Colorado.
@ Whacked
Seems people love to use the Invite Club option on these games...
@ everyone with FH
Try to avoid using the Invite Club option on any night between 8:30 and 10:30/11:00 as there are race series running on almost every night. Check your friends list and get your invites out to the right players. With only 8 players per lobby get a party going and use the Invite Party option if you are too lazy to send out individual invites.
@ feralcobra
Blue? Bugga... I had blue with stock tint. I might pick something else before next week.
@ all Italian Job drivers
Post up a pic of your car once painted.

Re: Forza Horizon Italian Job
In no way was this supposed to be a super serious series Dazz. If you don't believe me, drive an up to spec Mini on the golf course
But in all seriousness, Dektra, Surfer, Tasty, Whacked, another Apex guy (sorry surfer, don't remember his name, midget something) and myself all had an absolute ball last night and probably the most fun I've had in Forza to date.
It would've been a very casual thing, I just wanted to see if the points idea would maybe make people play the game a bit more competitively.
I guess if we've got some interest, then Dektra, you can run it from now on. You're a better series organiser and stuff than I am.

Oh please dont mis understand what I said up there ^^^^
I am all for a series in FH, serious or not. Just thought I would put my Admin hat on and place a gentle reminder what we are, and our core buisiness. Maybe that is changing...
Go for it, I say. Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, and even Sundays are free at the moment.
After the regular series while daylight savings are on may be a bit hard to get numbers though.

Well, Forza 4 will always be the core of what we do until Forza 5, so I was in no means trying to take time away from series for Forza 4. I may have misunderstood what you said Dazz and I apologise for that.
Well, we've got admin backing now so I guess this might go ahead if we can get interest for it.
We were thinking separate nights to series, but we can always jump on and do some playground stuff afterwards for fun anyways.

Went for Yellow with stock tint. Got that rally look and the same yellow and checkered roof like my HotWheels mini.feralcobra wrote:
