What about a series where your car's PI is considered as well as your finishing position? So if you beat a car with a higher PI than yours, you get bonus points or something. Not sure how it would work, but I see it working like a risk/reward system. You sacrifice PI with the hope of earning a bonus but having a harder race. Likewise, you could race with a higher PI, have a better chance of winning but forgo any bonus points.

so say set it to nothin higher than A class but people can choose whatever mods they want and if one person rocks up with a 530pi car and wins beating the higher cars he gets bonus points something like for every that you dont run with that gets turned into points so the example before they would get 70 bonus points( thats a big risk but the reward is good)

Will it be very even with standard power plants?

Why not just have minimum weight and maximum power restrictions?

I'm not sure i understand.

How will the different cars remain competitive?

Two different cars both meeting minimum weight could end up with quite different power outputs couldn't they?

yes, i agree heli, however, power isnt everything. Might be 700 kw, but weighs a tone and a half, againt a lighter better handling car at say 500kw? But i agree it will be hard to keep the cars together. i think ill treat this as a bit of fun, and not get too worried about how slow my car will. it matches my slowness lol.

Heli

the cars get tested for competitiveness prior to the series, something we have always done via our excellent staff and members.
The WTCC, Historics series, 4 door sedans series, GT Cup, are just afew whwere we have had diff cars matched for performance.

your forgetting it is A class this restricts the modification of the engine abit on some cars we raced them lastnight and they are all pretty even the lighter cars better through the corners but the heavier ones have got it on the straights
